Re: [4-22-09] KK's Loaded ROM v2.0Final Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21015 Build 21015]

I have a problem with a couple of apps if anyone could help.

I can not get Viigo to run on kk's rom v1.8 or on v2.0, I had it running on my phone with the stock rom. Does anyone else use this program and have it running on kk's rom?

Has anyone used facebook rom in kk's room?
I can not get inbox on the facebook app to work?

I don't know how/why you're having problems with Viigo.

I use to use Viigo way back when (like up until 2 months ago, lol) when I had my Mogul and Vogue, but now I use RSS hub. It is way better in my opinion, at least as an rss reader. It comes built into KK's rom, and a lot of others as well. I think it's regarded as the best, or at least one of the best, rss feeders out ther.

However, you may use Viigo for it's online capabilities, and I haven't really answered your question. But I can tell you that I now use RSS hub, and I love it. It even handles podcasts, too. However, Viigo does do a lot more out of the box, so I hope you get this worked out.

I really like this rom, but is it just me or is this rom a memory hog.... Does anybody know how to slow down all of the memory leaks? Thanks and nice job on v2 kk.

It's just you.
I've literally had no problems with memory leaks due to the actual rom. Yes, the tf3d tp2 is a little ram heavy, but you should have at about 50% of ram left at a clean boot.

If you're opening and closing a lot of programs, it is typical for WM to not give you back all the ram. That is not the rom's fault however, just a typical WM thing. I'd suggest using cleanRAM. Awesome, and I mean awesome, ram reclaiming utility. (you can even set it up to run on a schedule, at certain times of the day)

Hope that helped.

I am liking this rom, it's pretty decent! Thanks! I think it's really great and very fast. It's loaded with programs and yet it's very fast. The battery life is pretty good.

Here are two things I notice.

1. The language battery meter bug: If you click on the batter meter (or whatever it's called) on the top of the screen, it will display some weird middle eastern character letters.

2. The one hour gap: this issue may have been addressed on here before, but I keep getting a one hour delay gap. I think, (this is just an opinion), that it's being caused somehow by the g-alarm and/or world clock. Don't ask me how because I don't know. But after playing around with g-alarm and the world clock, I am convinced that the bug is somewhere in there. Every time I set my timezone to the appropriate one, it will just change back to something else later on.

How do I remove some programs that are not listed under the "Remove Programs."

+1 on this. I noticed it with an earlier release, but I forgot to report it.

I've even ignored the update, but still couldn't get it to work though.

There is an update but you have to get it from the website. The version on this rom is 4.5. beta. The latest version is 4.5.

Attached is the cab. You need to install it from the phone.

This is a known issue and been addressed a couple times in this thread. It is a problem with the world clock that is a known bug form the TP 2 tf3d port. Don't open the world clock at all. Change you times by going into start > settings > system > clock and alarms.
Change your time there. Don't open the world clock from the tf3d screen, which I thought kev has remapped anyways. Weird.

You can't. You can only uninstall cabs. Most of what's in this rom are OEM's, which speeds up the initial customizations for one thing.
