Grr, I flashed to 1.2 last night and it has been nothing short of excellent... but now with some positive 1.3 comments, will I flash again?

Yes. I want the best!

Unknown Caller Bug is still there in this build, when you utilize the Lock function :(. If you use the quick lock function in the start menu (soft key) it takes forever for the phone to ring and show someone is calling.

However the lock screen does not have the slight pause anymore :). Still wish this had the 3 row start menu, instead of the 4 small icon menu.

Still teating, nice so far.

Great rom! The only niggle for me is that Telus Mobile TV says the device isn't supported.

wow 1.3 has changed my mind about playing with 6.5. So far so good, very responsive. I still turn off TF3D and use the old today screen. Starting to like honeycomb. Love notifications and scrollbars. Keep up the great work. Wondering if it would be better without TF3D? (faster maybe, lot less files in windows dir) what do you think?

I haven't been using TF3D either... I really like the new 6.5 CHome interface, with a few reservations.

I will mention that with 1.2, my memory usage went from 31% to 40% just by installing the HTC slide to answer cab.

My only beef is the picture mail issue and the Small start menu icons (rather the 3 row).

Even hotter than 1.2. Blistering fast.... Notifications are not formatted right though, pretty bad actually and still only has a 5 minute snooze so I need to go back to winmo notifications until you figure out how to at least get it doing the snooze increments like Juicy. Anyone have a Large title bar cab that works on the TP?

Please help me test, so we can see if this is a work around for the 6.5 unknown caller issue.

If you are talking about the tabs. Just go to the settings tab and click on Customize Tabs.

Duh...this wasn't in the old settings. Thank you. Ok now one more question...with the previous WM when you were in say setting, personal, if you clicked on the X it took you back one screen. Now it takes you out to TF3D. I have tried checking and unchecking the box in settings that says X to close programs. This seems to be new with 6.5, tru

There's no more setting screens like in WM6.1. You go directly to the specific settings screen via the start menu rather than to a list of settings categories.

The new ROM with TF3D2 is a dog. Turn it off and it becomes a whole different phone. Thanks Starman. I do think I'll be switching back to the new Juicy ROM today, 6.5 is not quite ready yet.

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.3 (Rhodium + clock patched to G-Alarm)

I love this ROM! I love what you've done with the START menu, making it four columns wide. At first i wasn't sure about the four column program menu in TF3D but honestly, it's very useful.

I find this ROM fast compared to the WM6.5 ROM's i've tried even ones without TF3D. I'm still not sold on the default WM6.5 home screen column thing... It doesn't show my emails, texts, calendar, anything without going into a sub-menu which makes everything i'm looking for one step farther away.

Comments / suggestions:
Icons... i'm a sucker for the colourful icons at the top.

Calendar snooze. It doesn't give me the "5min/10min/1hour/1day" options. Miss that.

Text messages shows 1/25 on the screen but the up and down (next/previous) arrorws are missing.

Thanks for all the work on the Telus ROM, these phones, with the improvements really make it what it should be.

You have to switch the 1c684cd_manila file with the one from the touch hd. The you have to hex edit the manil2.exe to point to g-alarm.

Its a long process that I played around with for about 2 days before it actually worked. I tried so many differnt things that I don't have exact instructions. But that is how I did it.

Hope this helps.

Sorry I didn't respond to the PM I accidentaly turned off my notification when I was playing with my settings.

I put the .cab up on the first page for whoever wants to use it. I will update Manila on the next version.

The only thing I noticed is that the walpaper is now darker. I will see if there is a way to fix.

No I tried everything to get it to work. You basically have to do what it does manually.

its just another place to download it from. Serves the purpose of facilitating downloads in case that the original link breaks or slows down.
