Oh yeah starman uses TF3D2 for his roms. So all his manila roms are TF3D2

The about page in the settings menu refers to it as "XBmod VGA TP2 Manila"

Edit: Titanium comes with all 6.5 roms if I am not mistaken. If I am someone correct me

This ROM is very smooth and I havent seen ANY issues yet. Everything is working. No keyboard lag.

wow so now it looks like my keyboard just stop working all together...when i slide it the keyboard light come on but doesn't respond to anything and the lights go off...ANY fixes out there?

I had the same issue. I fixed it my pressing the space bar VERY hard. The connector is just under the space bar, so pressing button very hard helps to re-seat the connector. My keyboard was completely dead, works great now.

Star I wanted to thank you for this great rom. I have tried the other 6.5/TF3D2 Rom's and your 1.7 is smooth and fast, the best I've tried to date. Everything that I run is working flawlessly after a few tweaks, I can finally take a break and enjoy this great piece of software you have constructed.

Great ROM. I am using the Titanium only version and I love it. It is an everyday rom, and I'm out on the road (Boston) and I haven't had any major problems. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I heard a few folks say that S2U2 uses a lot of battery...any reason why u added it (s2u2) instead the new device lock? Just wondering your thoughts.

I just flashed from StarROM 1.6 to 1.7m and I must say it was a good move. The minor nits in 1.6 are gone and the ROM runs well. I've got it loaded up and all looks good.

I think like Starmans mentioned in this comment, he's just trying to get the first post updated. But the ROM certainly is better than StarROM 1.6, which was a good ROM too. And yes, it's even got OneNote already on the ROM ;) .

Starmans, I got to tell you man , you have this stuff down,. I love the tf3d2 and you got it working perfectly for me.,..I want to make sure Your rom is getting all the hype it needs I want to make sure it stays on top. Ive always been with MIghtYs Roms for the stability but your right there too , and I can't thank you enough, YOur 12pck's on me. !!

Yeah, i gotta say its a pretty good rom. im still a huge fan of tf3d2. but i like the having the toggle option for titanium. I have both themed and everything seems to be working.
The one thing i havent been able to get working the msn weather widget. How do you get the weather widget with the radar and the hourly forcast? thats the only thing i cant find a single post mentioned about.

Great ROM Starman. I am very impressed with your work. The last version I used was 1.5 and there was a small bug I encountered. Randomly ( and it seemed to happen more with longer threads) when I deleted a conversation from my text messages, then go back to the text TF3D preview, the deleted messages would still be visible there. I'd wait a good minute or two and the messages would still be there. I have my messaging settings set to immediately delete messages ( they do not go to trash folder ) . Was this issue addressed in later versions?

I been runnin the new 1.7 for since yesterday morning. Absolutely fantastic rom. Only thing i cant get to work is pandora, which ive had trouble on other 6.5's. I also noticed that when the camera launches for an intitial time, its a black screen. If i close out and go back in its fixed. minor, but continuous and annoying. The other is i would like to get a working msn weather widget for titanium. If anybody has got this i would appreciate some assistance on that. The mp3 trimmer is also missing. I finally found a WORKING version of that, so im good. Thats all I can find. Great work!

If you want to remove the S2U2, then you need to install the S2U2 .cab and then go in and remove S2U2. I did this on mine and it works

Sorry all but do to my car accident yesterday mourning to go along with the great luck I have been having lately. In this car crash perished my beloved Touch Pro who has be demoted to a paper weight that can receive phone calls. So in this news could we have a moment of silence.... In that being said the next release of StarROM will have to be postponed until I can afford a new phone. I will release what I have so far and also release the new rom with is not quite complete.

wew, thank God Ur ok.
That being said I have benn running your 1.7version and find it very usable for everyday use, BUT:
1-The pretty Opera 9.5Beta suks b*lls in refresing screen as I scroll I have to wait for image to appear.
I installed an older opera which works well.

2- I get occasional random freezes lasting 1-2sec either when using manila, or when going into startmenu. this does not happen all the time, just occasionally.

3- battery life is ok but not as good as some past roms I had.

Other than that all seems well, this rom is pretty smooth, especially scrolling.
I have telenav, sprint TV with fix, and it works where other roms didnt.

I've just installed 1.7 with TouchFlo. I was able to sync before, and now I can't. I deleted my partnership and it does not see it... I CAN connect in Disk mode. Do I need ot do something special? I DID NOT reset my phone after the upgrade, do I need to do that?

Yes a hard reset is a MUST after every rom flash.

also go into active sync on your phone and see how many comps are listed? sometimes active sync on the phone creates multiple comps (even if you use the same comp) and those have to be deleted

Ok, another question... Is there a registry edit, or setting where I can change where the main page "Pictures" points to? I think it defaults to My Documents, but I want it to point to my storage card. I didn't see a way to change it.

I hard reset my device, and still no activesync. I am running StarRom 1.7 TouchFlo and Windows 7. I deleted my partnership on the PC and there is none listed on the PC or device. When I connect the device, I tell it ActiveSync and it does absolutly nothing... Any Ideas?

Nevermind. If you go to Settings > Connections > USB to PC, I had to uncheck the "Enable Faster Data Syncronization" box. That was it....

Downloaded StarRom 1.7m and I must say, really nice work. I used Your StarRom 1.3a for over a month and it worked flawlessly, a little high on memory consumption, about 64-68%. StarRom 1.7m at about 45-55% depending on useage. The only bug I have noticed is text messaging on 6.5 gives me an error that says "SIM isn't inserted into the phone." If I use text messaging thru all messages, works great. Not a big deal, but would be nice if that bug could be fixed because I really liked that over plain looking text messaging ui. Keep up the GREAT work.:headbang:
