I was using device lock. Removed it and all is well. It would be nice to be able to map it to the power button like kayfouroh suggested.

Edit: I'm too slow

Go to phone click on menu/options then go to services tab, scroll down to voicemail, click get option, then click delete.

This deletes the hanging voicemail notification.

Gotcha. As stated though I want to lock using the power button on top, not the End key. That's why I use DeviceLock.

BTW - great ROM! Not sure I thanked you for it earlier so....... Thanks!

I was using Copper before this but it didn't have all the toys you've pack into yours. Yes, there are a few annoyances but it's beta and those are to be expected. Can't wait for V1.6!

Everything is running smooth here after 2 days the only nagging issue i have is the start button dies on me more often than it ever did on 1.2-1.4.

I have 2 batteries. One original other supposedly OEM off of Ebay. Both say HTC innovation and look very similar but I cant tell which one was the original, but with one of them i think my rom is killing my battery and the other I think my ROM is awesome on the battery. So yesterday I thought 1.5 had terrible battery life and today it is great, but I switched batteries :-) I'm going to mark them before I make another ROM battery life judgement.

BTW has anyone bought a "real" oem battery at a good price? Where?

I'm using the oem battery that came with my phone, and with very minimal use (maybe a text message or two, no calls), the battery is "very low" according to WM after about 6 or 7 hours.

That is terrible, I don't see how that's usable.

What programs are you installing after a flash?

Is this not compatible with 6.5?

What were you getting with other ROMS? I am in a low signal area and if i left data enabled with Juicy, Mighty, Erice, Calkulin I would be lucky to get more than 2-4 hrs of runtime with very minimal use. Sometimes I would feel my phone hot in my pocket and the battery would have drained in less than an hour. The last Mighty and Juicy I tried I got erratic results possibly because of the diff in 2 batts i was using but i seemed to get 5-7 hours consistently and last week with Star 1.4 I got at least that and several times I got 10+ hours the best I have ever had on any pocket PC in 15 years. I've only had 1.5 running for 1.5 days so I can't tell for sure yet, but so far seems similar to 1.4... I did have Nepower installed on 1.4 and this 1.5

First off, Thank you for all your hard work. This rom works great with the only real bugs for me is the message inbox just opens right after a soft reset. When I close it down, the start menu doesn't open.](*,) Everything else works though. I wish those issues could be fixed so that this would be considered the greatest 6.5 rom ever...

Go into your messaging app then into menu/tools/options and I bet your display account picker when opening messaging is unchecked. If you check it then your inbox will stop opening.

STAR,

on the next ROM is possible to have some sort of audio/volume control come up when you click the speaker icon on the task bar instead of the notification menu

thanks for the answer to the first question about the messages poping up. The second one as to why th e start button crashes I actually figured out. The problem is WKTask. I really like WKTask but it conflicts with HTC task manager. Is there a way to totally remove HTC Task manager and use your own 3rd party as default task manager.

I thought going into htc task manager settings and unchecking the options disabled it. When I cook my own roms I always leave out htc task manager and install wktask. I dont know if I could live without it. Are you sure it is what is killing the start menu?

Starmans...just flashed last night...Great job...so far so good...stable, and clean. I'm still sifting thru the post for .cabs that is known to work (so far) for 6.5. Love the option to go TF3D OR Titanium. couple of things (suggestion/wishlist/grovel for list)... not sure if you want to load this up with apps...BUT...how about a built in cab folder with cabs that are known to work so the ROM adopter can choose different cabs to install...seen this in another ROM... am looking for more Titanium panel customizations...saw some in XDA already...and there's a post here in PPC...but wondering if you'll be including some of these in future versions of your ROM? Thnx...

Whenever I try to send a text or email message. Typing into the "to" box brings up a drop down box with several possible selections from my address book. There is also another selection list at the very bottom of the screen (the one I'm used to seeing on my old 6.1 rom and stock roms).

With this rom, I have 2 selection boxes as stated above. Typing part of the name and hitting enter creates a new text message to "2" (no matter who I choose from my contacts list).

In the stock rom I could start typing in the to box...hit enter to select the right name from the bottom. That would place the email address or phone number into the to field. I could then tab out and continue with my email/text.

I saw a similar problem earlier in this thread and the suggestion was to install an xbmods cdma fix 2. I've done this as well and I still have this problem.

What I really need to be able to do is turn off the drop down list that shows up under the "to" box.

I've searched through this thread and others looking for an answer but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

yeh thanks i needed this fix too
but basically if i just chose from the drop down it would work, but sometime it jammed and a 2 would pop up,because yeh it has a choice up top and down at the bottom of the screeen

but this takes care of it
maybe this should be put in in the cooking?

with your upcoming ROM is it possible to add the "E-mail" icon into the menu? that takes you to the messaging screen (where it lists all your E-mails, SMS/MMS, and add new account option.

Thanks

ok, getting better acquainted with Titanium...(its like maknig love to a new girl...just gotta get the right feel for things...http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/smi...on_twisted.gif... couple of questions...I'm looking for a battery meter app...forgot its name...that tells you rate of charge and discharge at any given time.... also, what icon packages would work for 6.5? Taskbar icons that is...I'm missing that percentage battery meter...
