What is best way to reinstall registry tweaks & cabs automatically?
 

I'm wondering what is best way to setup a script to automatically install all cabs & import the registry tweaks i create without having to keep doing it all manually, cause it's killing me.

I see a thread about provisioning.xml and sdconfig, but what is that?

sdconfig is one way to do it. I personally use sashimi.

SDConfig is a text file that resides on the root of your storage card and runs if your rom is UC capable. It will install cabs files, xml, tsk, copy files, and also execute programs. You have to use the correct syntax and it has to be coded in ANSI. The latter part is easy just save it in that format in whatever text editor you use. I use Notepad++. There is a thread about sdcofig and provisioning xml's in this sub folder of the forum. I would look through there and see if you can find what you need. I really cannot help with the provisioning xml because I do not use them myself. I am learning though. Hope this helps.

I use PIM and Sashimi but seeing the post above mine about the registry cabs I think that just added a cab to my arsenal. Thanks redd214

+1 for SASHIMI

Personally, I do most of my flashing and modifying straight off of my phone via SDcard.
*Resco Explorer's registry add-in is what I use primarily for exporting my entries but recently I found out that FDCsoft Taskmanager will export individual reg entries, not just an entire folder.*

cool, thanks for all the replies. I like the way Sashimi looks and am about to toy with that a bit. Resco works good for importing it seems, I just have to convert all my values to the 8 digit ones... any suggestions on a good converter?

like how
value=112, becomes like dword:00000070, and stuff like that.
