I like where this is going but I had to flash back to previous version as sound was functioning awkwardly. The ringtones which had been previously stated is occuring on my device as well. However, when I try anything that functions with sound it seems to freeze my device and only cured with a soft reset. Additionally when I use the volume toggle button a notice comes to the top of the screen stating HTC volume control and underneath it says personal settings but when I try to select either of these options nothing happens. I can't wait for the re-release but appreciate the teaser!!! Keep up the great work!!

yeah something is wrong with the sounds and notifications tab. When a person calls me, even though both sys and ringer volume are 100 percent up it never plays a ringer. same with text message sounds. Aww man, I love this rom so freakin much, without the messed up sound tho.

It's probably been mentioned already but unfortunately sprint's # codes don't seem to work on this rom, and the start menu is only 3 icons per row in landscape :(

even more weird..soft reset of the phone fixed me sounds and all of the htc sounds are there now to....can anyone else verify please

I remember they worked for me when i first installed the rom, but its like now i just tryed it now they don't.... now im soft resetting to confirm....

great so for now the fix for the sounds is soft rest of phone ..im gona work on a new rom to see if i can fix this

I am running Juicy 5 or 6, can't remember which one but I had a similar problem with the ringtones being "corrupt." A soft reset seemed to fix that problem for me too. I know it's a different ROM but still same problem and same result when soft reset.

Oh I almost forgot to mention! I installed nueBatteryTPDiamondCDMA-106-v1.0-pack on this rom and I didn't even need to install nuePower afterwards to get the 1% power to work... as far as I know I've had to install both files to get that to work on the past roms... just thought i'd share...

*edit* oh also I'm able to have the battery showing on the today and the clock showing on every other screen, just how I like it! it hasn't been this way in the past roms.... for a while at least...

*EDIT* on another note.... I'm noticing I COULDN'T GET THE POWER PROGRAM TO OPEN just now until I soft rested! and now it opens... I wounder if that has anything to do with not installing both files.... I don't want to install the other program or hard reset to find out tho :(

I've soft-reset multiple times since flashing the ROM and haven't noticed any improvement in the sounds and notifications. I'm going to try again now. You sure you mean soft and not hard?

EDIT: Well, whaddya know, that did sort of work. Now it'll play my ring tone when I select it. I still don't see the Touch Pro/Diamond HTC sounds (alert-crystal, for instance), and it still won't preview the alert sounds, but it'll preview my ringtone fine.

yeah a soft-reset does no good. And the only thing I've restored is some programs and my contacts.

when in touch flo what is the default comm manager? is it the HTC one or WinMo 6.5? the last version used winmo and i hated it since it left out some Comm settings and i would rather have my HTC version, anybody have a fix for htc?

ive tried resetting, no go with sounds after 5
soft resets. ive also noticed adv. config tool doesnt work.

I'm about to flash back. For most of the day I've received no notification of new text messages, and sometimes no audible ring. Clearly there's some serious issues with notifications in this build, unfortunately. Credit for the overall great build and fantastic speed, but I'm going to have to wait til this issue's resolved.

OK, I must have the only phone that is having none of these issues!!! I don't get it. I must be doing something wrong!!! My ringers work...my notifications work. I feel like I should submit my phone for examination...LOL!

im still working on the new build but i have not had any problems with notifications of any kind and i get about 300 texts per day, my email notifications work great also....

the only problem i had was the ring tones but after a reset it cleared up ...fact is it is running great at the momnet ....

if anyone is haveing problems with notifications and texting please let me know so that i can pin point these problems and have them addressed

i am having the ringtone issue also... its weird because i can assign a custom ringtone that is on my memory card for my text msgs.. phone ringer..only all the alarm alerts work..the others are showing error..

I haven't ran into any issues with ringtones/notifications or start menu icons. I flashed yesterday morning and so far I've added ArcsoftMMS5.0, Titanium Customizer & a StartMenu 4 row cab. I don't like the verticle today screen. It doesnt show everything i want in a nice convienent way. I like tf3d more. I'm gonna try spb3 in a bit. Once yesterday my phone went to power save mode and I couldn't turn back on w/power button. I had to soft reset, but that hasn't happened since. This rom is fast! Good job on the ROM!

Point of interest: just cooked a 21501 ROM from the official kitchen and had the exact same notifications issue. So it's not special to your build...

I have been religiously using ur roms since the first beta. I love them I just have a quick question..i am using the 4/10/2009 version of this rom..but ever since i started using this rom after about 2 weeks it start to not freeze but takes like 3-4 minutes to load if i exit a text and it takes me back to the sms inbox. This has happened with all of ur roms, I finally have my phone the way i want it and dont wanna flash again til ms releases full version of 6.5 on May 11. How can I Fix this issue of it slowing down so much after i exit text? Thanx Man.....I love ur Roms so much!!

Now I have more issues, ringtones dont ring, its just silent. same with sms. Says my sounds are corrupt in the Sounds and Notifications settings. Also whenever I soft reset, i have to slide open the keyboard to get the screen to wake up. Had another issue with the screen not waking up when I pushed the top button a few times yesterday as well. It wont let me choose which wifi network to connect to either.

The rom is super fast, just has sound issues and some icons dont work in the Settings.
