This rom is amazing. After a few tweaks everything works great. I am running manilla and it is running nicely. At first I could not log into facebook through manila but after reinstalling windows live it worked fine (I don't know what one has to do with the other but it worked for me.) The menu softkey did not work on the music tab so I installed the rodium d update and it works fine now. This is the best windows 6.5 rom that I have run so far.

I believe you need the supporting cabs. However, whenever I install the 5-HTC_Programs_Icons.cab, after a soft reset, I can no longer open explorer. I get the error "The file ':MSFEXPLORE ' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed..." Anyone have any ideas? I've hard reset twice, and I get to the same spot.

You guys gotta go to xda and download the entire rhodium package. In it the cabs are numbered, just go to page 1 after u download and it tells u exactllly which ones to install

You need to download MANILA_CAB_PACKAGE WWE V1D (04/05/09) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493531. Unrar and go into the Complete Manilla Fix folder then to required and install
1-xbmod policy-reboot
2-sdkcerts
4-HTC New Contact Card
5-HTC_Programs_Icons
6-HTC Rhodium Album vga fixed

and dont forget the CDMA fix from the same page further down there will be a link.

But when I installed 5-HTC Programs Icons, file explorer and a bunch of otehr programs no longer worked. I'd stay away from that cab. Also, shouldn't we update the cab on the Rom from V1C to V1D? Cuz version V1D has fixes for:
-Internet tab fixed
-music tab fixed
-start menu fixed
-stocks tab fixed
-some menu fixed
-wallpaper fixed
-HTC photopicker fixed
-gsensor fix
and some others.

the 5-HTC_Programs_Icons.cab is overwriting the .lnks in the /windows folder. The ones linked to the programs in the start menu i.e. File Explorer and changing it to open a different program. So I just hard resetted, I'm going to retry all the cabs minus the 5-HTC-Programs_Icons.cab

just unzip this shellres.192.dll and copy it to windows folder overwriting old one using resco explorer or TC and you will have your original WM6.5 wait curser back as well as normal sized X & OK icons back, however you will lose the black windows start icon, it will revert back to the white windows flag, ENJOY!

Really enjoy your roms. Have tried others but keep coming back to your roms. Would it be possible to get Beta 1 with a 24meg page pool? Thaanks for your hard work. (I like Beta 1 because it doesn't drain the battery like the newer builds)

I have another issue: any time I lock the device or go to the Programs tab, the "All Programs" and "Remove" softkeys persist in every other tab. Anyone else seeing this?

your talking about TF3d ? ..i havent updated it in mine yet ...the onlything that is installed in the ROM is the V1D main cab ..you will need to install the rest ( minus the icons cab ) some say that the icons cab is hoseing the TF3d so stay away from it for now

Yeah, in TF3D, if I go to the Programs tab (without the icons cab installed), the softkeys get stuck. I figured out a workaround - restart TF3D. A pain, but it beats soft reset. Otherwise, the ROM's working well... the People tab loads kinda slow on the first try (no biggie)... and I'm looking for a Picturemail cab and Comm Settings tab cab.

This rom had so much potential...the 1st non beta rom was simply amazing, minus the keyboard bug. Now there are so many problems with the rom that it is unusable...I don't know how this happened but what a shame.

I love this rom, iinfact i have been coming back to the wm6.5 alot i love it the first bata was awesom but i left it due to no profile update and my net keep losing connection and i had no data i have come accustomed to the 24mbpp and love it however this rom has some bugs here and there like all romes do its just a given it will happen now my only request if at all possible would be could you upload beta v1 with a 24mbpp? that beta was flawless other then no update profile & prl but i have those cabs now and can just install thaem!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ON THESE ROMS BRO!
