N00b ROM Question
 

I am looking to flash to a ROM for the first time. I am looking for something very stable and somewhat minimalist in nature. I also want it to be a 21xxx build. Can anyone recommend one for me? I searched around here and on the Internet and see two possible candidates - CFAY and KK’s.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

1st- flash cfay's mess around with it
2nd-flash kk's mess around with it
3rd-flash back to cfay's or stay with kk's(depending on what u like best):mrgreen:

4th-flash another rom after that
5th-flash another rom after that

rinse and repeat

There's also Scott's kitchen so you can build it as you like it and with one of 8 sys files available.

or you could flash lllboredlll's rom:)
best one so far! ive flashed just about every 21xxx rom and i always go back to bored's try it you wont be disappointed!

Try one by one and see which one fits your choice.

agreed, only way you will know which one is best is by trying them out. just make sure you read before doing anything

or you'll be frowned upon...


It ALSO depends on what phone u have...

If you have sprint.. get whichever ROM... if yer vzw... you can only flash a selected few...

AND very important that you set yer pagepool to yer .nbh to be in between 9-14... any more than 14 will waste too much...

I Always use 10 MB...

I agree you have to play around with the ROM's but I like cfay's. All of them have their pro's and con's but it all depends on what your looking for.
