HANDS DOWN feature ROM, SIlence 8.5 ,now supports Verizon and it's SLICK, for a featured ROM. Its FAST and it has a modest ammount of extras added , enough that you have got alot to play with but not too much. I am seeing 40.80MB free on boot 60% used RAM ( WIth 16mb PagePool mind you). Its very PRETTY with nice new icons and finishing touches. (link in my sig)

HANDS DOWN for Speed, lllboredlll for speed/clean with no fluff ie Stipped . NICE work from llboredlll no doubt. (link in my sig)

I have tried about all of them and Scott's SSK 21015 is about the best I've found for Verizon at the moment, I run anywhere from 40 to 30 MB free no matter what I'm doing. GPS working without having to use VZ Navigator, stock ROM had trouble running Garmin Mobile XT because of memory issues, runs flawless for me now. Click link in signature for his site with download links. Hope this helps.

so what are your thoughts on having over 80mb free and no less than 65?

there isnt but one rom out there that can give you that :D

not knocking scotts work but when you say 30 to 40 I feel obligated to inform you there's an option with twice that... but if you are all about the bling then I'd suggest you stay with what you got...my rom is for function and not meant to be purdy

Let's give credit where credit is due, without your work, bored...all of us "not willing to pay for navigator" VZ TP owners would be "GPSless". Much appreciation for that big step, and like you said, if its pure function and speed, yours is hands down the winner to all who want that, however, Scott's is a little more of a balance of form as well as function and thats why I recommended it.

Since I started this thread, I have tried silence and bored, bored has been on my phone for 2 days, I have a few small bugs, nothing show stopping. I am about to try ssk's : CE OS 21015 "B2B" Bonus ROM

I will see which I prefer.

Scott has some pretty nice work for sure. Try the B2B Bonus Rom and let us know what you think. When I tried it It had some serious bug and issues but not everybody is seeing that so I would be curious to hear your opinion after using it :)

Happy Flashing :headbang:

Since us VZW folks are starting at a disadvantage, the only ones that work like they are intended are the SSK, Bored, and Silence ROMs. Depending on what you want they all have what you could be looking for. SSK offier everything from his kitchens. Bored just plain makes the fastest shizzle out there. Silence combines them and makes an easy load and go system. It all depends on what you want. Pretty soon you will end up like me and just flash as soon as something gets uploaded. I am happy for three days max and then flash again. Damn, I'm a nerd.

Bored's is great for cleanliness and speed...
Can't comment a lot on Scotts because I tried the kitchen not the actual ROMs.

But I have found MightyMike's to have a full complement of apps and enhancements built in and it is as solid as a rock!
Mike will only include enhancements that are stable as the goal of his roms is to pack in a good set of bells and whistles that are all stable.

Mike happens to like a lot of the same apps I like and he cooks them in...
Just saves me a lot of installing after an upgrade! LOL

For the record though when I first decided to flash my TP, Bored's reputation here made me trust his work for my first try...

And any ROM that has GPS working in it is based of his work!

My only other suggestion to you is if you do flash make sure you get a good handle on what cabs you need to install on a clean rom...(think HTC X Button)
It will save you a ton of time later!

For your first flash I would also shy away from any of the rhodium enabled ROMs....At least until XBMod and the crew finish work on it...It will help you figure out which ROM is actually better without any of the Rhodium stuff throwing you off.
