installing cabs after upgrading?

Ok, all these rom updates are driving me crazy, not necessarily in a bad way :). I know there are ways to automate the installing of all our favorite cabs, but I am not sure how to do it, or what the best way is. Could someone point me in the right direction? I was reading up on UC (user customization) and wasn't sure if that was the best way and if it is pretty much standard on all roms? I am using MighyRom right now but I wasn't sure if that is built in or not? Thanks,

Easiest way imo? SASHIMI. Shove all your cabs into a single folder, and they all install automatically.

But the complience for this must be cooked into the ROM , correct?

+1 definatly easiest...less complicated than UC, and other back up/ user Custozer/auto installer apps, as it all in one... you can back up phone settings, registartion info, ini files, even prefered registry hack, along w/ cab... set it up for manula, auto or both...tierd installation or not... definatly makes flashin and hardresetting less stressful!

Nope... its an app that set itself up on ur sd card, so even after a fresh hard reset or flash, (w/o app having been installed) you can activate it from the sashimi folder on you sd card and run it like that!

+1 on UC

That should get you started.
Easy to do cabs in multiple locations, Supports copy and paste (great for just copying shortcuts), and you can add in registry edits (email settings and serial numbers). I don't know what else you could possibly need.
May take you a couple days to get it how you like, but flashing roms has never been easier for me since I've perfected my UC.

Thanks, I will check them out and see which one is going to work better for me. I appreciate it.

I am interested in this myself. I tried sashimi but for some reason it looked like it installed every app twice...

and my only gripe with UC atm is I have no clue how to get it to install cabs to the storage card unless I manually edit default install path in the cab file itself.
