Alltel MMS help!!!!
 

i need me some help getting the mms to work on my tp. i am running mighty rom 4.15 and have installed arcsoft 5 and it installs just fine but i am still unable to actually send a pic. i changed the server setting in the mms option as i found in another post but still no luck. any help would rock and or rolll. the files i used to download and install the acrsoft cabs were from the mighty rom 4.15 thread.

I had the same problem and read over at XDA to set the port to 80. For some reason mine was set to 8080. So try that out and get back to us.

try setting the connect via option to the internet. that always works for me.

also, this should not have been posted in the upgrades section.

Scuccia is right, don't think it has anything to do with the port setting. Just edit the server settings to connect using "the internet". Wait a few minutes and soft reset.

if ur changing the server settings under the options in outlook you dont have to softreset they will take effect soon as u hit save.

only registry editing the server needs a restart.

if the mms fails imidiatly ur server url is wrong. if it tries for a little bit then fails check ur port. if still fails possability something in the registry is stuck.

I had the Port problem and 80 solved it so if changing the server or what not doesn't work then it's another option. Just if anybody else stumbles over this thread.

hey thanks for the advise. lol i installed the new mighty rom 4.16 and then the mms cab and it worked fine for some reason. didn't have to change a thing. i don't know what the difference was but that how it usally goes lol ;p

I installed mighty rom 4.16 and nothing works. I get a txt and it says i have a new picture and there is a download option but i cant click it, its grayed out. this is on my friends alltel touch pro. any help?? I installed the stock alltel cab on mighty roms thread

what are your settings under the server for mms?

Port: ?
URL: ?
MaxSend: ?
gateway: ?
etc

post ur settings

thats the thing. I dont know how to get to them. its not in my programs or email settings or ANYTHING, but yet...its installed? i goto messaging and all it says text messages and setup email.
