Downlowd New Rom On Tp And Flash By Sd Card ? ?
 

Is there any way to upgrade TP to new Rom without using pc just by touch pro , downloading by touch pro on it's sd card and upgrading from there ? ( If you r working and see new rom and if u want to upgrade ).

You know.... I actually thought about implementing something like that into a ROM. Where as you coudl flash a new ROM from an interface that woudl download the RMO from the web and prep it to the SD card. Internet is just not fast enough yet for us...

But yes, it can be done. as the guy pointed out.. follow the instructions from JD. You will basically do it like this...

Download your rom and extreact it. Let us know how long that takes please. Im curious. Extracting an NBH will take a while on these phones so if you can find a rom that has not been zipped or rared you will be much faster.

Next take the NBH file inthe ROM and name it raphimg.nbh. Now put phone in bootloader and it should see the ROM file.

All of this is in the instructions as linked above. If you decide to try this please post back how long it took you to download over the air.

that is how i have been flashing this past month a lot of the roms. I download to the phone, extract with pocket rar, rename it to RAPHIMG and flash. the whole process of downloading and extracting takes me about one hour and a half. lol.

It would be great if there was an option to download the NBH instead of the whole thing. I never flash from ActiveSync.

usually the roms are in the ruu folder just rared. if you use pocket rar more often than not you can pull the nbh outta it from the phone, this is the only way I flash.

Thanks for the heads up. I have never tried downloading to my phone. What a concept... But I might hit my 5Gig Sprint limit :)

unless your using PAM you have no limit if you download it via the phones browser.
