when you open the ssplmanual file and the phone enters the bootloader mode (tri-color screen), do you see a grey screen flash up momentarily with a short message?

ya something flashes before tri screen, dont se comex though on tri colored screen. ssl20 or something, it just stays there till softreset.

did you get the 2 files from the first post of this thread? did you leave the nbh file named the way it was when you placed it on the mem card?

i think im in the same spot as darren...ive used 3 diff sdcards FAT32 cluster sized from 512byte - 8kb. and if you get a fix please post. TIA

your carrier is all melted so does that mean your using a sprint touch pro on verizon's network?

i extracted the SSPL zip to My Device and then extracted UNLOCKER zip to freshly formatted sd card (all through total commander). then i run the SSPL exe and then the tri-color screen pops up and stays there no CMONEX.

dang...that sounds exactly like the problem darren was havin. This program right here is what i always suggest to people in your spot and it usually fixes the problem. It fixed darrens problem too. Just format the card with this and it should work fine http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/pag...geManager.aspx

and make sure your RAPHIMG.nbh file is in the root of your mem card and not in any folders.

i was using softwinter storage tools...i didnt know TC had that capability...btw thank you very much for this info cornelious ive been computerless since the t-pro came out and now i can FINALLY flash some new stuff! quick q though can you flash radios the same way?

I didn't think it had it either which what why I was confused. ill add that that program doesn't work for formatting your sd card. Glad your up and running now.

I followed the steps from firs post.When I run .exe,it enters the bootloader and not asking to press the power botton...Then I pressed power+volume+soft reset and now spl-0.25 changed to spl-0.37
The full text on the screen looks like this:

Is it unlocked for custom ROMs?

0.37.0000 = locked
0.37.cmonex = unlocked

is the RAPHIMG.nbh on the root of your mem card? is memcard formated to FAT32? Try reformatting it.

the ssplmanual.exe file that you ran temporarily loads the spl .25. The .37 is the stock spl that comes on your phone

correct it switched from .25 to .37 because you pressed the combination to enter the bootloader before flashing. (either the file is in the wrong place or not unzipped or your sd card is not properly formatted.)

Thanks for info.My 512Mb SD card formatted FAT32 and has only 2 files in the root,and still no go.
I was able to unlock via activesync though...
I purchased this TP in used condition,may be thats the reason lol

Glad you unlocked fine, but I am guessing while your card appears to be FAT32, it seems certain programs format it in some way that is incompatable with the bootloader to recognize the roms. Razor linked nuestorage a few posts back, try formatting with that. Flashing via the SD card is MUCH nicer than active sync when you get the hang of it.

i can get unlocked fine and says "comex" so im unlocked but when i try to flash i get a rom error and cabt do anything after that, like its bricked. . any helo? my aim is darren8739 and yahoo is darren.wlsn2

yes, but unlocking isnt the problem so my card is fat32. try me on aim again if that was you puff, i missed it and not sure if it was you.

now i got my inactive tp flashed but with the same process my active tp wobt seem to go, when i check to see if im unlocked ok it just keeps softresetting? as far as i kniw i formatted to fat32 fine and the loading screen does load full then softresets itself but when i try to flash it just softresets.

wha? so you got 2 touchpros? :scratch:

if that's the case and it works on one, take that SD Card and use it in the other tp to flash a rom

as far as bootloader, make sure your holding the buttons after it starts booting ;-)

active tp is flashed and inactive is now flashed back to stock so things are good. i tried another rom but it wouldnt flash, did rename the file ect and no go. can someone tell me what rom they have sd flashed? im not liking the dcd bare rom im using. i just want some ideas of whats working when sd flashed.

I sd flash ALL my roms it must have been a corrupt download or something.

I unlocked it, tried a rom, didn't like it, put back stock sprint rom and locked, but it reset phone with "Loading..." and now it's stuck in rainbow screen with "Upgrade ROM code error" "Please try again" and it has yellow RUUNBH on top right.

The rainbow has the 0.37.0000 (locked) so I can't reprogram anything, how can I get past this error?

the stock flash went perfect but i tried another rom and the file was called signed ruu and i renamed it to raphimg.ruu and it no workie. raph was caps also. theres no"x" or "ok" so i cant even load wp with the rom im using.

i have 1 inactive and one active tp aswell sprint with 6.5 injected worked,but im using psyki4 and im really liking it.

answers in the guide just reflash the stock rom.

0.37.0000 <---------- LOCKED

Phone stays in 0% when I try to flash it.

Only way I found to boot and be able to use my phone is with mtty and in Cmd> writing "boot" so for all of you that bricked your phone, pull it out of the closet and try this, maybe you can still use it if you have a working ROM on it. DO NOT TRY TO LOCK IT AGAIN, that's how I messed mine up! MOD delete the LOCK .nbh it messes up phone. I have RADIO 1.08.99 <---maybe that has something to do with it? I dont know.

no it works perfectly fine if you would have followed each step and put the stock rom and radio on it first you wouldn't have had that issue. Thats the difference between the dumped and shipped roms.

A clarification... I didn't follow instructions and I almost bricked my Touch Pro.

I manage to boot the phone when bootloader failed to upgrade and was stuck in rainbow screen. Ran mtty and in Cmd> I used the "boot" command. Once in the phone I ran the Soft SPL with an SD card with unlocker RAPHIMG.nbh and managed to unlock the phone again being able to reflash once again! Woohoo! :D
