well.. i guess this is the last time i flash.8.0 is the end of the road for me unless theres a 9.0. Thxs jugg.... you have proven to be a worthy member with great custom roms. Next time I will flash is if HTC releases the proper d3d drivers. Otherwise.....8.0 is the end of the road. Thxs again juggs.

Are you guys getting good battery life out of this? I haven't had a chance to charge fully to test it out the last few days as I've been very busy. Wondering if anyone had any input ...

Has anyone tried the file replacement, when I did it put a whited out block in the upper left corner on all tabs except for the home tab..

I dont know if it is just me but my battery life is not really good. not really lasting me then a few hrs. not really going online or making phone calls...going to try to see if i can tweak anything else to make it last longer...

This rom has done pretty good for me. I left unplugged last night it only moved a couple percentages..

thursday night i put a freshly charged battery in my phone and as it stands right now with approx 10 phone calls and 300 or so text messages im at 42%...some internet and gps usage as well...

What always impressed me was the speed of rom 4 in opening the windows folder. That is one of the reasons I would always come back to it after trying other roms. It opens the windows folder in 1/4 turn of the wait symbol. No other rom matched that until recently I noticed that one other popular rom has come close (although I stopped flashing for a while when you moved off the scene). I tried version 8 and it does not open the windows folder as fast as versions 4 and 5 (which I am on now). Is there a reason for this?

Finally, your work caused me to really appreciate my device. I want to thank you for all your hard work and contribution to this community. Believe me, your work will be missed as before. Yet I am most grateful for what you have already done.

hes using a different file explorer. did you notice you saw file extensions? its ALOT more powerful thats why its a bit slower.

I use Resco File Explorer which is what i compare the speed of the roms in opening the windows folder. All in all, Yay's rom is the one i have come back to over and over and the one I have settled with because of it speed, battery usage, and overall performance.
