It almost sounds like "Mightmike" (Mightymike) needs to buy x10guy dinner for all of this boasting and support about his rom. Here I thought this thread was about Yay4Juggs. Also, reading some of the posts in this thread, there needs to be a Thumbs Down, Spit, or something to that effect, next to the Thanks button.

I've never even used his ROM. I just stating what is somewhat apparent in the forums. I have absolutely no vested interest in any of the competition that is going on among custom ROMS. It's just really obvious that as time goes on, many chefs are falling by the wayside and while others get more and more popular.

Yes JK i am up for the challenge.

I have always wanted to collaborate and make an UBER rom for the community.

I am not glad to see others go. No one deservers to feel shunned out because their thread doesn't have all these OMFG views and replies. All created content for the ppc community should be shared. Bottom line.

JK If we can gather more chefs, lets create something special.

There are a lot of fragile egos here. This sort of thing happens every new device - remember when dcd left ppcgeeks for xda-devs over a similar situation? One has to ask themselves why they are creating ROMs in the first place. Is it because they enjoy it as a hobby? Do they crave the "thanks"? Do they like coding?

I understand those who say they are not going to churn out any more roms because the work just becomes too burdensome - I've gone through similar phases where the work is fun for a while, but eventually it becomes a chore. But to blame it on others - to say that the spirit of competition has soured your resolve - it's just silly in my opinion. And then to post a tantrum in size 48 type basically chastising others, saying they are at fault... are they fishing for compliments? Any praise garnered after such a statement rings hollow, in my opinion.

I don't really have a point to all of this, I just wanted to convey my reactions.
