Ok, ive come to the decision to wait on xboxmod to release a patch or something to many bugs for me to justify a release. I dont want to release a sub-par rom. The major bugs im running into are the contacts tab crashing, SMS new menu asking for a sim, and the emails not being selectable. Hope yall understand.

as i said before tho. i tried Juicy's and truly hated it. the way he has the programs and settings feature set up really turned me off completely to the rom.

thats cool fay understandable. but for some reason i cannot download your 1.1 i wanted to try that with xbmods cabs to see how that would work, i tried the cabs with mightys and its okay but i would think your 1.1 and the cabs would be better. so any help or a mirror would be great. thanks again for all your work

holy ****!!! so far im running fays 1.0 (cause i cant download 1.1 cause rapidshare gives me an error message) with xbmods cabs and so far its ****ing awesome. everything works perfect so far. like the calendar when you hit one of the days not only does it give the option to add an appointment but if its within your 5 day weather it shows that too., this is just way too ****ing cool thanks so much guys,

okay the only problem and its just a little one is that i dont have a program tab and even with the cabs i cant get it so show at all but since i use quick menu its no big deal still really awesome oh and the weather on the calender is only in celsius

to be honest...that setup imo is a lot better since it reduces a lot of redundant screens or settings...

Xboxmod and the team just released a new version... OEM-ing now and taking a look, possibly releasing a new rom if things go well...

how do you use push internet with this rom & why are the Opera bookmarks no longer showing under the youtube icon on the main Internet Tab within the touchflo 3d? Is this user error or unidentified buggy issues within this rom?

no disrespect, plenty of Thanks and props go to CFAY for this Great CDMA version. I was only pointing out some differences between this build and the gsm phone builds. Once the bugs are fixed: Contacts, SMS, TV Out, and the minor weather (calendar) fix will make this absolutely incredible!!! i was attempting to be more helpful than come across as ungrateful... really, so many, many Thanks!

i'm trying the new cab from from xboxmod on version 1.0 of Cfay's rom. i had seen a posting earlier that said someone had some pretty good luck with it.

i tried the xboxmod cab on KK's rom but with everything he has in his, it just really slowed it down to a crawl.

wow. seems a lot snappier for sure. of course there are a few of those pesky manila problems but seems pretty good so far. gonna put all my programs back on and test a little.

so far the only issues i really have is with the weather (no customs allowed) and the time (still can't set the proper time in tf3d - it always goes back to the default "Bogota, Lima") . the people tab is behaving like it should. i installed the newer version of Opera (15613) and it's working pretty good. tomtom is working, iGO is working, seven is working.

so far pretty good. tonight when i get off of work is when the real testing begins. but so far, i like it very much.

EDIT. i forgot to mention that it also still has the non-uninstall problem. and for those of you that haven't tried it yet. the new setup by xboxmod and his team somehow disables ALL installed programs from being uninstalled. it completely removes them from the installed program list. but as mentioned many times before, this is a known manila problem and will be fixed. so far, that's really the only thing that's driving me crazy.

Im now back in school so rom releases wont be as often, i will still release though when manila is fixed up and released in diferent stages. As for the bugs mentioned, its all because of manila. The TV out is not in setting because i simply dont use it. The opera icons in Internet tab is yet again a manila bug.

I have a question to anyone using the xbod manilla, how are you guys getting the time to change becaue the new manilla keeps putting my time behind by 1 hour. i changed it manually which is no problem, but whenever i receieve an email, they are off by 1 hour on the incoming time. I applied the dst patch but that had no effect.

To anyone not getting the weather working, all you have to do is go to file explorer>application data>htc>databases> then delete the file in there and your weather tab will work.

the only way it will work is to use settings>system>clock & alarms.

if you try to set it with tf3d, it will switch back to what it was.

Its weird, i did that and the time is fine now, but my emails show an hour earlier. Are your emails showing the correct receive time?

I still reading thru today's messages, but I need to get my email to work, i see the messages but cant view them. Any way to get this to work?? Other then this, i can get by with this rom while it's still being worked.
