Bored is there a way to get working HTC volume control in your kitchen cooked roms? Native finger unfriendly popup sucks.

Have you felt that the HTC Volume control increases the response time (slower) and won't Autohide unless you touch the screen?

I do agree that the native popup is not the greatest but I felt the performance difference was significant. I should clarify this performance degradation is not consistent but occurs enough times to be noticed....

love the kitchen, takes a bit longer to load than others but worked beautifully. only question i have is, is it possible to prevent the kitchen from organizing the links in the start menu into folders? i ask this because i very meticulously arranged them, then backed up all the position binary values and i restore this during UC to have the icons in the order i want them in and since a lot of the .lnk's have been moved into folders breaks that.

you will have to edit the initflashfiles.dat in OEM_Lang_0409 and any other OEM folder that you are going to install into your ROM

the reason it takes a little longer is because if the multiple OS ... you gotta give a little to get a little ;)
