A new Windows Mobile 6.5 has leaked, which brings many of the features which were only demoed at MWC. The new build, version 21169, for example now features the new version of IE6 with the finger-friendly buttons. The built also brings performance improvements, with Sliding Panels being much faster, and the ROM is also more stable.
The ROM is at present only suitable to use by experts to adapt to other devices, but these individual builds should not be long in coming. To read more about this visit PPCGeeks here for more information and the relevant download.

Why would you post about that here? Conflipper from here is the one who is releasing it so why do you need to quote WMPoweruser and even make a thread here?

Because I knew there were chefs and other interested in 6.5 builds. I was at work, browsing sites in between calls, and saw this. I posted it here because I thought there would be an interest in it...not a hissy fit over the fact that I posted it in the first place.

My apologies to Conflipper or anyone else I may have offended.

Mods...please close this before anyone else gets their panties in a twist and decides to needlessly flame me.

I guess PPCGeeks is like the Harvard of the PPC world....if I made a silly mistake during class at Harvard...I'd be chewed up too....

But, people why the needless flames? It doesnt make you look any better. It makes
forums less enjoyable. But, hey what do you care right. If there was a way to take away thanks I would.

There was no flaming in this thread...people need to get a clue. I posted what I did because the "news" he is linking to is on this very site. If he bothered to click the link he would find out, but apparently he did not. If he did do so and thought it was still worth posting - something to note for the future - I'm pretty sure the chefs/cooks can keep themselves as informed with new releases

Its people like you who make others not even want to post when you troll the threads and then find it necessary to reprimad those who make a mistake and post something thats already been posted.

I feel as though I was just trying to be helpful...and your sarcastic post was just completley unnecessary. All you had to do was say "Hey man...this was already posted...in fact what you are linking to is just a link right back to this site" and I would have just responded with a request for the mods to delete it.

At any rate...its over..I realize the post was a waste because its already been posted...and I asked the mods to close it. Lets just leave it at that and move on.
