I guess the "trick" would be to make the animation last for however long it is supposed to show up there...

Sorry to copycat you Juggs... I just could not resist... I have a question... While the animation is happening... Are things being loaded in the background? Or is the phone just working on displaying the animation, because if that is the case I could drop a few frames...

Yeah, I still can't get it to loop either. I slowed down the GIF animation speed so that it is displayed for about the same time as the stock Sprint one... but no luck here.
