they almost all have better batt life and are usualy faster but some still heat up when on internet, happy flashing. try them all n test for your self.

Re: heat/battery?

My Battery never gets hot, but the radio/processor on the top part of the phone does (the battery s on the bottom of the phone).

I notice it most when I use Internet Sharing, WModem, or WiFiRouter. Must be a quirk with this model. It helps a little bit if I slide open the keyboard.

All ROM's that I have tried do the same thing. I have tried them all, BTW.

I dont think your going to find a rom that will stop the heat. My phone gets warm when in heavy use and it doesnt really bother me. But if your phone is getting HOT I would take it back..

Re: heat/battery?

There is no ROM out there that can fix the heat issue, it is a processor issue, which means the phone needs better chip sets.

The Best Rom would be Mighty Ron 4.11 Take 3 if you ask me, its the best. My phone hasnt gotten hot since i flashed, and its the fastest ROM i have used.

You might want to change the radio. Im using the telus radio and the phone is not as hot as before. and the battery last longer using mighty 4.11 and the telus radio..

i've been meaning to ask this question for sometime. has anyone had the back cover kinda burn into a dark color due to the overheating?

Try this software, look (and disable or find alternative) for program that takes a lot of power overall.
