6 is good... or 9.. or even 12.... but dont go over 12.

if it is you first go at it... i would use 6... then just experiment from there!

Thank You , I'll have to go with 6 for now as advised and then do some searching to see what the Page Pool affects. I just saw some ROMs like MIGHTYS with 24MB PP and figured the bigger the better!

Thanks again!

Those guys all have Sprint phones... the Sprint models have more ram then we do, that's why they can run a 24MB PP.

you do have a Verizon Touch Pro right?

If you have a a Sprint model, then by all means go with 24MB!

SSK Roms are the only reason I still have my VZW TP, with the gimped ram on top of the constant WinMo and TouchFlo memory leaks I was ready to buy and activate an Alltel or Sprint TP. I highly recommend his work. Hopefully VZW wont blow it if/when they get the Pro2 - that is wishful thinking though...

I've had a really good history with Verizon and you just cant beat the Network. But what they did to the Touch Pro is depressing , never the less its still the best Win Mobile device Verizon offers IMO.

Totally agree on all those points really!

I travel extensively with work, and have had sprint... nothing beats the reception in more areas i get with VZW (damn, I really just sounded like a commercial there! ;-))

this is a great phone, and hey, thanks to this board... if we wanted to, we could buy a sprint phone and run it on VZW's network! hehe!

Sorry foe another noob question but I swear I had read ppl advising to do a hard reset after flashing a new ROM? Is that always the case? You are supposed to hard seset AFTER every time you flash a new ROM?? Just want to make sure I am doing this right, been having fun in the kitchen :)
