I am sure folks, I thinks lol, this build has just been released, and now is in Nrgz rom, Yep our Juicy def always had the best, but this version I dont believe was released to him as of that early, you can tell by style of tflo in the newest nrgz rom, it is for sure a different style.

U are 100% right NRGZ (Energy rom) has the new manila 2.1, very fast and stable, I would'nt go back to manila 2.0...Manila 2.1 has inprovements over 2.0 and is in beta still

i have used juicy since release 5 and have loved all of them, fast and great battery life, just yesterday i flashed the juicy 072309 rom and from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm i completely drained the battery, just mild use, maybe half hour talk time, check and update the weather, send a few texts, normally the older versions would still have like 60-80% battery left. any suggestions or ideas why? thanks!

Yeah, Juicy threw that one together with about 10 minutes of testing. At least that is what I remember reading. I dunno if that has anything to do with battery life. I tried it and reverted back one version. Been real happy with it and today I just installed Lumos. Its a backlight control replacement and so far really seems to work well.

ya i looked into lumos, does it really make that much of an improvement? im thinkin of switchin to energy rom, but i heard the battery life isnt great on that either, might revert back to a previous version of juicy also

I've notice the same thing. Hoping Juicy will pop in one of these days and post that last version he was working on, but he hasnt posted in almost 2 weeks.

ive tried his other roms, not the new one with 2.1 (which i gotta try lol), and found that my battery life was so bad it was unusable for me. very slick roms, but even with the tweaks my battery would be dead in under 3 or 4 hours. with most similar roms i go 8 to ten hours under the same conditions..just my 2 cents tho ;)

with lumos, cant comment yet as i just installed it yesterday afternoon..

I been using Energy for about the past 3 weeks or so since not much new was happening here and I really liked it (we lose the Juicy v2.1 kb) but everything else was very acceptable. I never tried the Energy 2.1 rom, but on top of energy, I installed the Cabs in the Y files to get to 2.1. It was nice, but I had some weird issues with email etc..so I just hard reset and with the help of Sashimi and UC I was back in 10 mins to where I was. IF I could only figure out how to get BTooth without having to Pair handsfree link each time in my car, thats the biggest pain!.

One very cool thing about 2.1 I liked was when you have appointment or anything scheduled with the phone number, it pops up the number on the appoint time which comes in handy when your in traffic and I dont have time to scroll thru everything to find it. now you just push the button and wham you got it..
