Re: [ROM] [Apr 29] JUICY 7 - Build 090429H (21501.5.0.70) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

Question - anybody experience slower typing speeds when texting? for example when you type in the name of the recipient, the auto-fill for the name is slower than on older builds and the same with when you type out a message, doesn't feel like the screen is keeping up with my fingers anymore.

I have had that on every single build of J7, when typing text messages the letters I type with the hard keyboard are usually 7-10 characters behind on the screen I always have to stop and let it catch up so I can make sure I typed it correctly.

This is a BETA, and not an official release.

I need users on Sprint to test SprintTV.

Download here

I just tried this and it doesn't work for me. I installed both SprintTVVGACab_1.6.4.74603_11_19_2008 and HombreSprintCarrier090430. I also tried the instructions from this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=67310. I still get the error message 'unable to launch app using current internet connection'.

Has lot's of nice features and options for unlocking including light sensor, stylus out and G-sensor movment like flip over and back upright or shake back and forth. I used it for about a week then paid for it. Was quite worth it.

+1 for PocketShield but I cannot foresee Juicy including that in his rom due to the main factor of it costs aside from putting up with the nag. I used to be a hardcore SU2U user and didn't think it could get any better, but once I started using 6.5 and was looking at options to fix the S2A etc I tried PocketShield and have never looked back, it is the best I have personally used for locking/unlocking and dialer integration. But everyone has their own opinion and I completely understand why Juicy wouldn't want to force anything on someone.

Using either AdvancedConfig or just the Connection settings, go and disable the default "data" connection and use the newly set up "Sprint PCS" connection that the Hombre cab made.
That should make SprintTV connect correctly.
I just found this last night and forgot to post it.

Is there any possibility of seeing a rom that has no manila whatsoever? Im not really sure what the hype of TF3D is, Im really starting to prefer the windows 6.5 default.

Try the Copper rom. I use it and love it. Dont have any problems. I think the Rhodium TF will be alot better once someone ports it from an actual phone.

yeah its sort of a hassle to wait for the screen to catch up. maybe juicy can find some way to tweak the speeds a little in his next release. (crosses fingers)
