PPCGeeks - [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090922H (23052.5.3.0) [UC]

This cab fixes that problem, found it in another thread somewhere. I also think it fixes the music soft key problem (I never experienced the problem, but my phone does not exhibit it).

Wherever you found that music menu fix, I've been asking/looking for it!
I thought I was the only one with that problem.

Same problem, the screen will go completely blank when locked sometimes. Have to slide the keyboard out or reset the phone.

Quick question, sorry I'm a noob: My text goes off the screen in landscape mode and the bottoms of the letters get cut off when the alphabet scroll thing is showing. Also I can't scroll further down than whatever the last option is on the screen... like in choosing a city for weather or my address book

I use this in my own rom without any problems but YMMV. The only weird thing about the showaco alltabsBG fix (as you probably know if you've used it) is that it messes with the landscape background. Personally I'm ok with that...

Just drop these manila files into your windows directory and back up the originals if you want.

This should also fix the problem with manila going dark and freezing when you access the menus in the contact tab.

thank you very much! not only did this fix the facebook and manila freezing issue, but it also fixed the menu soft-key in the music tab. I can shuffle again!

BTW Have you heard anything from xboxmod on the status of final topez manila port?

I'm hoping new manila places the cursor automatically in the sms text reply box when you select a sms mesage or slide the keyboard out in manila. I can't tell you how many times I forget to hit the screen twice after sliding out the keyboard to type a message but I find my phone trying to search contacts instead.
