Re: [ROM] [Apr 24] JUICY 7 - Build 090424H (21501.5.0.70) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

I have an issue, I just installed this ROM and everything is great. I'm loving it. But when I try and launch the internet (Opera), the system just hangs at an HTC Loading screen and then it goes back to the TF3D Internet Tab. Is there a known fix for this issue? Did anybody else have this issue? Thanks in advance for any ideas/help!

It's known and has been addressed (multiply) in this thread.

Start. File Explorer.

Go to the Windows folder on your phone.

Scroll down to WM6_PPC_HTC_Opera9_WWE.CAB

Click on it.

You're golden.

this didn't happen in 090423 and i'm using the same apps, i use UC to install everything.

Yes I do have this, as well as freezing sometimes when I'm writing a text. I would like to flash to the build before this but I didn't save it.

It's just the fact that TouchFlo doesn't remember reading one of the texts you have gotten.
1) You could go through your txt messages by the Messaging app (not through manila) and just select each of the texts in the thread using the up/down arrows. Sometimes I get a few at once, from the same person and only the last one was selected as read.

2) You could delete all the text msg threads you have.

3) Sorry for being rude, I know the JuicyROM folk are the best, but your third option is to post general questions like this in the Parent forum HTC Touch Pro as per request of Mindfrost82 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=65925
Freakin tone never comes out right in text, it's just a friendly reminder. I'm only slightly being a d!ck. lol
Thanks.

Could someone help me with the contacts issue? I would like to stay on Juicy ROM but I won't if the contacts won't work.

juicy,

isn't this the case? i find that the Opera cab from the Windows directory to *fix* the issue of not haveing Opera at all, but the kinetic scrolling is very slow and choppy compared to the initial release of Juicy7. i'm guessing that the installer overwrites some settings that get put in place at first boot customization. if this is correct, is there a way to redo those settings after the cab is installed from the windows directory? or is it just this version of Opera has crappier scrolling than the version you used prior?

other than the opera scrolling performance, this ROM is top notch. i'll probably flash others as they come out to test&play, but the speed of this ROM has made it my 6.5 goto keeper.

thanks,

Anyone experiencing a text message problem whereby every message you send remains in the OUTBOX folder and continues to resend up to 5 times per message per recipient?

I'm losing friends, people!
