Umm I'm likely gonna upgrade to 4/06 from 4/05, but first off I don't have any of the problems people are happening.

I use the new start menu so I don't have the issue of the keys sticking and I prefer this menu.

I've never had my SMS crash, and I txt from both the winmo screen and the TF3D 2 interface as well.

I haven't used my BT in a while so I can't comment on that, and my world clock no longer resets.

If those are the only issues that you all are experiencing, what's new in 4/06 because I doubt I'll experience them again so I just wanna make certain there's additional stuff in 4/06 to make it worth upgrading, and does anyone know if you can keep the new start menu in 4/06? I have the cab. Off to class late.

Ok...what is the problem you are having?

The first thing you need to to do is go to the Settings Tab
Tap Communications
Tap on the words Bluetooth
Configure your Bluetooth Device

Once you do that you can use the BTToggle ap to turn the Bluetooth radio on and off. The main focus of the fix is to allow simultaneous use of Bluetooth and your Data Connection.

Does anyone know if the latest release has XBMOD Version 1D?

Got it!!! Sheepish grin.... I thought your app fixed the comm tab BT switch!
I now have your BT program on my program screen so I can tap it whenever I need to switch it on.

Thanks!

As an FYI, use ssMaHo and patch in something like G-Alarm, so when you click the clock, it runs G-Alarm instead of the world clock/alarm. That's what I did and it works great.

Thanks Chuck! g-Alarm is great.

FYI, I'VE ARCHIVED APPROXIMATELY 2500 POSTS FROM THIS THREAD.

MY GOAL WAS TO LEAVE MOSTLY LINKS AND DOWNLOADS FROM DISCUSSIONS RELATED TO EVERYTHING BEFORE RELEASE #6. I'VE LEFT ALL OF THE DISCUSSIONS RELATED TO RELEASE #6 INTACT.

THIS ARCHIVING PROCESS DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR POST OR THANKS COUNT.

IF I'VE ACCIDENTLY ARCHIVED SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED TO THIS THREAD SHOOT ME A PM.

LATE,
COZ

Yes you can keep the new start menu. Honestly....there aren't many noticable differences and since it has already been out for a couple days...you might just wait as im sure there will be another update within a week or so.

Does TV out work with this ROM using the included AV cable or would I need to install something?

does anybody know how to map the left softkey so that it reflects the contacts from the tf3d2, and not from the standard contacts? all I have is the old reg key but it takes me to the old style of contacts. just wondering if anyone had done this. thanks.
