HOTMAIL ISSUE, please help
 

I have researched it on google and on yahoo
i have loaded mighty mikes 4.9.5 rom onto my TP
but i keep getting the same issue

when i try to reply to a hotmail email and try to send it right away..it gives me the error it cant send
" windows live hotmail could not send the message. please try again."

i have done all that i can think of, hard reset a few times and like i said loaded a new rom

please is there anyone that knows this fix or what to do

yes i have checked as much of the 300 + pages that i could...did searches in the thread about hotmail, sending email, pushing email...blah...ha nothing that i could find

i also have 4.9.5 minus the hotfix and just tried to duplicate your problem several times and they all sent fine. Have you installed any programs or done any tweaks?

razorloves, no i just got it bone stock...i tried the hotfix...i might try it again...i put a new rom on...merdians one...but i still get the error....my active sync one...the outlook express one sends just find...and it recieves just fine...so i think its got to be something with hotmail...but not sure

I use KK's Loaded Rom, but I usually setup Hotmail via the "Windows Live" app.
Are you doing it this way as well?
I've never had this problem and it's the first thing I do after restoring my data.

The app should create the Mail account for you.

it also happens to my stock sprint touch rom. it seems to only happen with certain corporate email addresses. i have to resend it a few times to make it work

i have done it doing it the way with letting live set up my email...still doesnt work

riironman...i have to do the same thing...i have to go into the out box and manually hit send again and then hit send and recieve and it works

is anyone else still having this issue...because i am....but its like i can reply..only send new emails...

also my active sync works prfectly

SO perhaps i found a fix...seemed to work right away for me...thus far...still sending random emails to different places...but it seemed to work

Synchronization fails with message "There is a problem with the server. Please try again later.":
During setup for Windows Live for Windows Mobile or when synchronizing e-mail, synchronization may fail with the message "There is a problem with the server. Please try again later." If this issue persists, it is likely to be a known problem where at least one e-mail in the inbox prevents the completion of the synchronization. Microsoft has identified this issue and is currently working to correct this temporary problem.
Corrective action:
From a desktop computer using Windows Live/Hotmail, move e-mail from your inbox to another folder and then trying synchronizing e-mail on your device again. If the synchronization is successful, one or more of the e-mail messages that you moved to another folder prevented the completion of the synchronization. If you wish to move your e-mail back to your inbox, you must determine the specific messages preventing synchronization and move each message to a non-sync folder or delete it.
