I think im doing something wrong
 

I'm trying to unlock my htc touch pro to use custom roms. I've downloaded the Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035.exe since i have a verizon version phone as it states to do. I plug my phone up to my PC active sync mode then click on Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035.exe that i have in a folder on my desktop everything goes fine i go through everything it says i get to the part when the progress bar comes up still everything fine phone and PC are working together the device even has that (bootloader screen) up there but only for like 5 seconds. Then the phone has a progress bar like the computer has had so far to me everything is still going well, then it just jumps to 100% immediately both device and pc and then says its was a success on the PC, phone resets nothing changed though still has the stock image verizon 1.03 or something like that not the new 035 like it said it should be. Also i cant enter bootloader mode. The reason i know im doing something wrong the program says it should take 10mins to load the new image on my phone but it doesnt as i stated above. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

You most likely successfully unlocked it, keep trying to get to the bootloader screen (volume down, top button, reset button). Let us know what it says in the rainbow screen

Nope wont enter bootloader screen everytime i hit those two buttons (no matter what combination tried every possible way) it either does the following go into standby mode or ask if i'm sure i want to turn the phone off. :-(

Three buttons.

Hold volume down, then hold the top button, then stick the stilus in the restart hole. It HAS to go into bootloader mode

Keep holding the buttons till you see the bootloader screen

unless you're in the bootloader, i don't think you'll notice whether it's unlocked or not.

Thanks for everyone's help it all worked and i'm using Mighty's Newest Rom. For some reason in another post it never said anything about a reset button it only listed two buttons that needed to be pushed, thanks again for clearing everything up. :thumbleft:
