problem with flashing rom
 

I have a new touch pro that has never been activated yet. I am new to this. I read a lot of the posts on this forum. I did the backup and flashed the unlocker on the phone. I checked it in the tri color screen and it showed up that the hard spl was on there. I then copied a rom (romeo2) to the ruu and hooked up my phone and ran the ruu. I forgot to put it in the bootloader mode. It was just on the normal today screen. After it said it was complete and it reset all it does is keep vibrating every 15 seconds or so and says touch pro but then shuts back off and repeats. I can not get it to do anything at all now except go back to the bootloader mode. Please help me if you have any ideas. I hate to waste all this money on the phone and never get to use it. Thanks

You can try a couple of things:

1. Hard reset: (power off the phone) then press and hold the vol down and enter buttons > soft rest and then very quickly press the power button. This can be tricky and you will most likely have to try a few time.
2. Load another ROM via the SD card: copy the ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh

It sounds like you make have just loaded a bad ROM. Hope this help and you can take a look here for more details:

U sure you unlocked it? Ddid it list Cmonex under the bootloader screen? This is a CDMA rom do you have a GSM phone? Brand new phones will show Unlocked under the bootloader screen, if it doesn't show Cmonex then it is not Unlocked.

I think your right, maybe I had a bad ROM. It is unlocked and I just flashed one of the stock rom's from here and it is working now. Thank you for your help. I am just mainly wanting a different look to the phone more than speed and function. I will search through some more of the rom's and maybe try a different one.

No problem and I am glad you are up and working again. Nothing like having a new toy you cannot use.

There are many good ROMs to choose from and it sounds like you are on your way to many more flashes in the near future. :)
