Glad you like it. The pagepool would be beyond my area of expertise. I've never really followed the crowd with the different page pools and the different latest-newest SYS's. All of the benchmarking that I've done still points to what the chef adds determines the rom speed and whatnot. Not the SYS or the pagepool. So I've never really felt the need to dabble in those arts. A search might find what your after though, I used calcu's kitchen so you may start there!

Something definitely changed though. I know you mentioned that you kept the pagepool stock and I was able to manually change the previous ROM before this one to 32MB but this one, no luck. I'll keep searching though.

sorry I wasn't clearer, I was able to manually change .19 to 32 MB, but cannot change .20 even when searching for the same string as in .19

In .19 I searched for the string beginning with 03 15 blah blah blah and was able to manually change it in hex editor no problem

that string does not exist in .20

New SYS in .20, from the diamond official rom. SYS 20764, not sure what it was before since I don't have one...

After running this ROM for a while, there is just a quirkiness to it that I can't really place, quirkiness that wasn't there in .19...I'm switching back, loved .19.

Hello all, I have a question about opera, whenever I X out the program it closes completely, but when I do the same thing with other programs I can still see them in the task manager. Is there a setting or reg edit I need to do to allow it not to close out completely all the time. i hate having to reopen the browser and and then load the site I was previously on. Thanks for the help. Great rom by the way. I'm running .19.

In the rom it is set under StartMenu-QuickMenu-Option... then look for "x-button of screen" Default is "Short-press to close, long to minimize".


you can also set it here, but quick menu is the default task manager...

StartMenu-Settings-System-TaskManager, Then select the Button tab, the settings should be in there.

RStoyguy, take a look at the link I posted, it may or may not be related to your rom, but it started after I installed yours. I installed yours only after going back to full stock and doing a hard reset.

BTW I appreciate the work you have done on the ROM, and I would suggest you add htc torch, since it seems like it owuld be useful to almost anyone.

Hmm... I hadn't heard of that before. I would re-flash to see if that fixes it. Other than that it could be a hardware issue, a conflict with something that was installed, or low memory. It is fully loaded ya know... :)
