Reprogram ESN....

Hi,

Does anyone have directions (link) on reprogramming the ESN on the Pro?
I have CDMA workshop but not sure what I'm doing yet..

Now before anyone starts with legalities let me explain my situation. I had my PRO's main board replaced and was issued a new ESN. I tried to activate and it failed. I called Sprint a few times and they say the ESN isnt in the system.

I called PCD and explained the situation. They said the ESN was already sent over and they would send it again. Well its been about 4 days and still no ESN in the system after many calls to Sprint. I assume my orignal ESN is still associated with my phone and if possible I was thinking of reprogramming with my orignal ESN so I can get my phone back up and running again....I'm SOL right now...

Thanks,

jamz

keep in mind, even if you do, your previous ESN might be blacklisted or w/e, and you'll be doin all that work for nothin, having to come back.

IMHO, keep arguin and get some discounts on your bill for all the shi* you're dealin with!

Re: Reprogram ESN....

I did this on my mogul, it worked except that I didn't know how to get the internet working.

Sprint didn't say a thing to me even when I asked if my account was in proper order.

It's a tough thing to do, but once you do it you can change it back easily.

BUT! new phones do not actually use ESN the use pESN which is an ESN representation of the MEID.

Good luck to you, feel free to P.M me if you have any questions. No promises on being able to help you tho.

LOL right. If your board was replaced which will never happen as they dont replace the board they would most certainly program the esn. The only thing they ever replace and thats a big if is the lcd which they just started doing.

If you want to do any esn stuff use the same tute for the htc touch. worked fine for me. I run a diamond and my pro on the same esn that way I can use one 1 month and the other the next and never get bored. People do have legit reasons for doing esn stuff but just tell the truth unless you are doing someting crooked and shady you got nothing to worry about.
