This is a great app. I would like to know if it tracks non-ppc phones and just regular phones that don't have windows or data plans. The site says so but i can't figure out how. Anyone do this?

Thanks for the post guys. I just istalled on my Touch Pro. Looks pretty great. I was just about to tell a girl and some friends I know about this when I realized something. WTF am I doing. This is pretty much a terrible idea outside of for use by people that WANT to keep tabs on people who DONT want others knowing about where they are or just have not made it a point to notify them of their whereabouts. In other words, this is great for parents, obvious reasons. Great for checking up on your significant other you suspect of stepping out on you. Horrible for just about everyone else. I can only speak for myself here, but pretty much everyone that I want knowing where I am, already does, and or can be notified very easily by a text or quick call. Do you really want x number of people knowing where you are at any given point in the day?

Re: Newest Google Maps Version 3.0.0.2 with Latitude Cab and OEM :-)
I had a quick question on the "Find My Location" feature. Obviously when I'm outside Google Maps can find my location via GPS. But indoors, I can't get GPS. So by default I thought it could "guess" my location based on my cell towers. Now I was told by someone that CDMA phone can't do this but GSM phones can, but another person told me CDMA phone can, so I don't know the real scoop. I have Sprint and Google Maps can't find my location without GPS. Any thoughts on this? I don't want this to turn into a whole aGPS, GPS thread and get off topic, just mainly wanted to see if other CDMA phones can use "My Location" when GPS isn't available.
