"You WILL be banned if you post anything about warez (keygens, serials, cracks, anything about getting paid software for free) or ESN cloning."

Also, I don't want to come off as being "preachy" but I fail to grasp how ganking Google Navigator (who are unaffiliated with HTC or any phone company) makes you feel better about paying full price for a TP?

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! obviously there has been a misunderstanding. I am not using warez or any of that hacking bullish. My version of Google Navigator is not illegal or in anyway fraud because i purchased google navigator v3 awhile back. The only problem is that when you try to update google navigator to the most current, they dont allow it and they make you re-purchase it AGAIN. What i was doing is sharing what i had paid for ($59) to EVERYONE/ANYONE here as a thank you for EVERYTHING everyone has posted. Its like buying a CD and burning you a copy. BUT since my generosity is clearly not welcome, i will with draw my thread. I APPOLOGIZE for any inconvenience. it was not intentional. I do not wish to be banned for something i was doing with good intentions.

Just an FYI, even though your version is legal, it is only legal to you. Meaning that you bought and paid for that version so only you are allowed to legally use that. By distributing it to other people, you are breaking a piracy law. Buying a CD and making a "back up" copy is again, only for you. If you have made copies for any purpose other then backing them up for yourself, you have broken a piracy law.

Hey Guys,
I love everything everyone here as done. I have been able to make my TP more personal rhanks to everyones hard work. I want to say thanks. But we should cut Anilliance some slack. Because after all isn't "hacking" and "modifying" and "unlocking" our phones border line illegal to? Ater all why would some of the carriers go after some of us for this? Again thanks for everyones hard and time consuming work.

shot answer, no. unlocking your ppc is not illegal. nor is hacking or modifying your ppc. buying a app. then giving the registry file away is. if you created a pp. and charge for your hard work whch is fine abd soneone gave your app. away to everyone would you be ok with that? to the op, a good way to thank members that help you is by hitting the "thanx" button after you get usefull info. (which you seem not to have done)

Eer, no they don't. This is total BS (your whole post is actually)

I bought GN a year or so ago & it has been updated probably four times since then. I have never paid for an upgrade.

When I swapped to a different TouchPro, at that point my reg file said it was no good as it didn't match the hardware & they emailed me a new one that day.

That reg file is only legal in my phone & wouldn't work in someone elses phone anyway.

By the way, this is total BS also, GN is NOT actually a Google program so there is NO WAY they mailed you this reg file for free.
