SSK 1.2 on Sprint

I've tried searching and asking (both Scott and in the thread) but nobody seems to know.

Has anyone using Sprint loaded SSK 1.2 on their TP?

Any issues?

Hehehe

Anyways, I am thinknig if you loaded the ROM then ran a carrier cab by GC that would more than likely work. Now I cannot garuntee but I will explain why I think it shoudl work.

The only differnece between my kitchen and a carrier free kitchen is that I have the OEM operator files that pertain to VZW baked in. A carrier cab is basically that plus some carrier specific files. If you run the carrier cab against what is already there you should overwrite the values that were cooked in. Hence a soft reboot and you will be sprint provsioned. Worse case scenario you have to flash a differnt rom of your choosing as the opertion did not go as desired. Mid case scenario you reprogram the correct values manually. More than like that would just be your vision user name and password and the differnt voice mail sprint dials vs Verizon.

If you do decide to do this however, rember this, I cannot garantee it will work but I have a strong feeling it will. Secondly if this does work as I intend you will have saved me about 8 hours of flashing this weekend as I had intended to do a carrier free version. THis will prove my theory about carrier cabs and I can have a carrier free kitchen completed for both 6.1 and 6.5......

So my question to you is; Do you think I know what Im talking about? hehehehehehehe

Let me know if you decide to try it. I will check my PM's in the AM then again in the PM. Cant post from work now... too busy so I get home around 5:30 Central Time. I will be glad to help in your testing in any way.

This offer stands for anyone who wants to try on sprint. The more the merry ;c)

Got a link to the carrier cab thread? I don't think I've run across that thread before and quick search didn't turn up anything...

I guess I could always do a full backup and give it a try, won't be till tomorrow evening though.
