Opera 9.5 build 15529 QVGA
 

I pulled this from over on xda. Apparently it was pull off of the latest Omnia ROM. Could someone here convert it to VGA??

Here I had it cabbed up in VGA last night. Didnt feel like posting it, plus had to leave for work.

a lot of the same issues with 15233.

Conflipper do you know where this reg key is?

delete the bootlauncher keys in the HTC boot launcher pertaining to opera preload"

Juggs refereenced it in the original thread about 15233 and I did a registry search using CERegeditor and could find anything like that?

Updated Version,

Fixed the Resoultion Issues.


Changed the following
Max tabs to 10
Homepage google (loads up correct from opera in programs, having troulbes wiht manila lauch)
Not autolauching on me at this time
Turbo mode is enabled
Special effects is enabled
Automatic RAM cache
Streaming Player is default media viewer
enabled MMS support
Updated maximum server connections for faster performance

Give it a shot and let me know.

the original version you post couple post up, was more suitable for me. i could play the videos that i wanted from youku.com but now this one that you edited and posted today, i can't seem to play videos anymore. perhaps its ur edits?

How do you get opera to shutoff for good, it keeps starting back up on me?

To stop opera from auto reopening open a registry editor and go to HKEY_Current_USER\software\HTC\Bootlauncher\Apps\

delete the opera entry.

This Opera doesnt like being OEM'd; there are RGU errors and even after some tweaking to initialize it just stays at the load screen. I uded some of the registry values from 15316 and that helped. Still not 100%

Con - Thanks for all the stuff working very well! Did you have a chance to look into why the social Net working cab and album you cooked up for me might not be working? If not no big deal just wondering . . .

A lot of Opera builds seem to be slow in my opinion, has anyone discovered or used a very stable and solid build as of yet? If so, would someone please point me in the right direction or even Opera9_2649 VGA build would do the trick if anyone has the cab for it. I am using the Vzw TP.

Opera version 15445 works with auto rotate on diamond and touch pro.

I installed your version, it doesn't seem to have the word wrap option. nor slider.

I can't get 15529_VGA to install, keep getting ".........does not have sufficient system permissions" message.

That's because opera is running in processes in the background. You have to close it down the process 1st and then it will install

for anyone that thinks the blank homepage is annoying, here is a little, kind of, workaround:

-go to whatever webpage you want your homepage to be
-go into settings and set it as your homepage.
-then, whenever you open opera, you will still be sent directly to the blank page, but just click on the homepage button at the bottom and it will take you there.

the tweaked version conflipper is amazing, but is there a way to make it so it stays full screen while ur scrolling through the page when its not fully loaded. this was possible in 2808, but the darn address bar and the soft buttons the bottom keep popping up everytime i lift my finger scrolling through unfinished web pages.
