Working IE8 w/Screenshots Wmo 6.5 Alpha Beta Rom for Sprint TP
 

If anyone was interested in a working IE8 wmo 6.5 way alpha rom to play around with. (NO IT DOES NOT HAVE HONEYCOMB) I have never posted my roms I cook and this may be my last. I have seen a few noobs seeing interest and I have been there a long time ago. I removed HTC task manager as I have found it boggs down the rom. With it removed just use wktask and you are fine. This is basically an enthusiast rom to have some fun with.

Please read below for details.

You phone needs to be unlocked.(Hard SPL http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...08&postcount=1 ) If you don't know what I am talking about then you shouldn't be flashing your phone. If you brick your phone you do not deserve to have a Touch Pro. Unrar the compressed file and copy it to your storage card on your Sprint Touch Pro. The file name will be RAPHIMG.nbh. You will then backup your files otherwise kiss all your stuff goodby! Now when your are ready to flash press the power button, volume down and then press the soft reset with the stylus. Keep holding the power key down and the volume down key until you get to the bootloader screen and then release. Now wait until it tells you to press the power button to update. When it is done flashing press the soft reset with your stylus and your are done. Lastly enjoy and have fun flashing. =) Please be patient on your first boot. It takes quite a while on the initial boot.

The camera does not work and HTC Photo Album does not work. Long End Press End Key, Uploader, and Network Plugin icons are jacked up but they work. I am not supporting this rom in any way.

You Tube is fully working, Exchange, Messaging, Opera, IE8. Basically everything "I" use on a daily basis.

This rom is based off of Conflipper's/Calkulin's Kitchen

IE8 (Works) A bit buggy. You get lines when it renders some web pages. You will see this in the Sprint power deck when you launch it initially.

Screenshots, with added taskbar icons. The icons in the picture are not included in the rom. If you want them download the cab on the next post and also copy the dll files in the package below and overwrite the ones in the windows root. Soft reset via psshutxp and you will have cool taskbar icons.

Taskbar Icons and TF3D Wallapaper

So unzip the archive and then install the tsowentaskbar5v1.6.cab and then it will prompt you to restart. Go ahead and then when it reboots use resco explorer/total commander ce and copy all the files in the Task Bar 5 Dll's folder to the windows root. Overwrite all files including the files in rom. Then soft reset with psShutXP and then you are done. If you want the TF3D wallpaper to match the dialer, then go to settings on TF3D and select the TF3D.png for your wallpaper. The wallpaper will show up in all the TF3D tabs. Now to make the today screen the same wallpaper, go to start, programs and pictures and videos. Open the program and point it to where ever you TF3D.png is located. Select it, press menu, and select set as today background. For Transparency Level use 0 and click on ok. Now lastly install the Large-Start-Menu.cab and it will ask to restart. Whew, that is all.
