This goes out to all the owners that are fairly new to the ownership of these phones. My questions is this can you guys and gals post on this thread and let the rom builders know what features and application do you like the best from your stock rom so they might be able to manufacture a ROM to you guys liking because from what I've been reading a ROM is too strip or too loaded with applications that we will not use but want the speed and flexibility of a custom ROM. And also please donate to the builders cause they take alot of time to build these ROMS for use to customize our phones so any bit will help, just getting closer to a best of both worlds ROM.

Also, yes you are right, no doubt... But that is the point of this IMHO.

You try out the ROM's as is, move around, have some fun then prepare to do your own.

I put out ROM's... Three of them actually, one is very light, one is stockish, one is loaded. I tried to anticapte the need youare bringin up a long time ago and this has been a good way to approaceh, becuse youa re spot on! People like differnt things. I realized I cant make everyone happy with oe RMO so I posted three ;c)

I tell my ROM users its not the ROM to focus on, its the ktichen. Thats just my two cetns though. Its how I see it.

Im not downgrading your statements, Im just giving you an alternative view to what you are saying. Is the glass half empty or full type situation.

Good starting point for all noobs is PPC kitchen. Very user friendly, easy access to support, lots of good OEM's....

Well, it seems like you should either use
* a kitchen == get exactly what you want
* a loaded rom == get the kitchen sink, without having to build it yourself, or
* a stripped rom == OEM rom w/o the bloatware?

I was a heavy kitchen user for the apache era, but with the newer mogul/touch/touch pro (sprint) I've pretty much stuck with OEM roms and tweaking, as the rom updates have been reasonably good.

For the TP, unless HTC is going to get one out soon with the updated TF3dHD and WM6.5, I'll likely flash a clean custom that gets that combo stable (in a few months I would think)
