I agree, but I'll use the 1.11 anyhow. Check back tomorrow, cause I'll run each mode down to 10% battery, with a charge in between
I'll be looking at CNN News on the MediaPlayer.

Hi, A quick FYI question....Page 1 Says "If you have the lllboredlll GPS fix it will continue to work.".....Ok, either what can I do to get rid of it, or, what DID I do to get rid of it....Again, just curious, I'm keeping it.

Another question: Windows patch update today was a Service Pack for Net 3.5....does this affect the Net CF 3.5 in the ROM and Kitchen.
And again another hypothetical quesition....If it did affect what's in the ROM, can a cab be downloaded to install SP1, or would we have to flash a new version of the ROM?

If you hard reset your device you will need to re-apply the GPS fix. So if you wanted to get rid of it a hard reset would work.

Ok, so if I flash to 1.2, then "as recommended on Pg 1" do a hard reset, I will have to add !!bored!! back in. That doesn't sound quite right?

I think that's only true if you do the Settings>System>Memory>Clear Storage hard reset. You also have to reactivate then.

Using the center d-pad + reset hole shouldn't erase those settings IIRC.

I used the center d-pad + reset hole and had to re-apply the GPS fix for it to work. I have also used Clear Storage and had to re-apply. May have just been a fluke....

Scott,
I was noticing the "Humongous" pics on the 1st page.

Attached is a MS Power toy for resizing pics....just right click, and it will give you 3 options to resize a pic....Small, medium, and Large.....My note says it's for XP, so if you have Vista, I don't know if it will work or not
Real simple to use....no image editing software is needed.

Bob

Edit: Added missing file

In Scotts previous ROMs you did not have to reapply the setting because it did not reset the EPST values. When you do the hard reset it resets the values so you need to re-apply boreds fix. Kamokazi has stated that it may still work if you use the center d-pad + reset hole. That didn't work for me. Just tried it again....YMMV
