So after running this ROM for a bit here is what I have for you Scott. First, there is no multi select for emails inside Outlook. The phone won't ignore a call correctly. Just musts the ring but the phone keeps flashing. (This is without a bluetooth headset connected, but this is the same problem I had when a bluetooth headset was connected in older versions.) The data connection seems to always stay connected. I know this because I am using the custom icons from Tsowen and the signal lines always stay blue instead of turning grey when the data connection goes idle.

I can get a Satellite lock in under 15 seconds as always but Google Maps is not showing my location for some reason. (I am going to try and download Google Maps to see if that fixes this issue.) But I wanted to see if anyone else was having the same issue.

All of the other issues I have found have been posted already by other users.

Now the good stuff. This ROM loads very quickly. Speed is very nice and can't wait to try the other XIP with the ROM. Battery life seems to be really good too. ROM is working very nice with the S2U2 but the only thing I would suggest is a darker image for the lock screen. I know that we can change this but I thought I would mention it to you.

So well done on this version and let me know when you are opening the kitchen to us. Can't wait for it.

this is a beta... its not a full ROM or the kitchen.
those will have that stuff, a beta will not.

New XIP ready with phone settings bug fixed, using MSXIPKernel 20764 - same SYS as Scott's beta ROMs and forthcoming kitchen. Link here - only for kitchens. Doesn't do anything for you if you're using a pre-built ROM. If updating a kitchen, you need to also replace the SYS .ROM and .VM folders with what is in the ZIP file. The ROM folder (not .ROM) over-writes the ROM folder in the kitchen.

Dimitri. If you have the advanced config tools 3.1 loaded, Goto menu, more settings and then connections. You will see a check box to "disconnect after", then a drop down. This beta was set to a 10 minute timeout and I always change that to 1 minute. Hope that helps. C
