WM 6.5 ROM now that it's leaked?!?!?!
 

Now that the WM 6.5 BETA ROM has leaked, is anyone here working to get it onto the Touch Pro?

I can't wait to test it!!!!!!!!!!!

did you read the story? I mean it may be leaked but it is far from the full version. Why don't we just wait until next month and see what happens

Dude, last time someon posted stuff with WM6.5 Microsoft was not too happy.... Um, that was two weeks ago.

I would post links as it will be consdred warezish in nateru.. M/S alreasdyd said dont screw with it!

Going to track all the WM6.5 threads that ask this question.

exactly if Juicy's ROM got taken down by MS expect this to be too considering the amount of press coverage on it today.

Second whats the big stink? Sliding panels on the homescreen? Everything else we have in custom ROMs already like mass storage, finger flick in the OS, etc. TFlo3d is MUCH nicer than that horrible looking sliding panels.

right now theres nothing ground breaking in there thats worth messing with even. Im sure itll be a while before 6.5 ROMs start going, no one even has seen the finished OS yet (even though id bet its just small tweaks to 6.1 with lipstick slapped on)

6.1 wasn't exactly the WinMo 7 we were all hoping for, but we jumped at the chance to upgrade to it from 6.0. May be 6.1 with lipstick, but you'll be in line to flash it just like the rest of us will! *lol*

i dunno bout that im thinking bout ending my 4 year run with WM until Ms gets it in gear. This rinky dink stuff theyre doing isnt advancing anyone in terms of ease of use or features of an OS. WM is a powerful Os no one will deny it, but the age of pecking away like a desktop on your phone is ending and MS hasnt come to that realization, and still have the desktop mentality.

Other manufacturers seem to be able to come out with new intuitive OSs like android, iphone, and WebOS while MS has been stagnant. I might end up with a Pre until we see what wm7 will be next year. WebOs sounds like it will be the best of all worlds, but well see in less than a few months. I was VERY impressed with their demo from the little they did show off.
