Windows CE Hotfix available in any custom ROMS?
 

I use my TP at work and we have a wifi setup using WPA2 with peap authentication. I can't get my TP to connect to this network and I think it's due to the following windows CE hotfix that is missing from my TP.

This fix was just released in October of 08 and I don't believe it is included in the stock sprint ROM loaded on my TP (Windows CE version 5.2.19965).

Is there any way to add a single Windows CE hotfix to a build or is there some way to determine if this fix is already in some of the newer kitchens/ROM's?

I'm a bit of a noob to WM so if I should be asking this elsewhere, let me know.

There is a windows update option in the settings menu. Now, I checked that multiple times on my mogul for a year and never once did it give me any update options. No hotfixes or anything like that. I guess you could attempt to try that.

I think that this option was added to wm6 and beyond so it might be a test. Maybe the WM 6.5 in the future will fix this for you? Keep a look out on HTC support site for live rom updates for stock roms. It's also possible that you may find something in the ways of a cooked rom here that has a fix.
