Bored... Im running your uuber stripped rom, and Freaking LOVE IT, but I no longer have MMS capability. I took a quick pic earlier and clicked the send icon and I only have options for text and email. I can use the Email, but the pics are sent as attachments which pose problems for some on the recieving end. How do I get the MS or picture mail back? I was rockng Scotts R4R rom, but only had about 18m free, with yours I have 70+. dont really wanna give this up, but i need my Picture mail..... :)

I also am having an issue with your kitchen.... I go through and select a couple things and try to make my own ROM, but after I hit the play button and the screen turns a slight yellow shade after about 30 seconds it gives me an error stating that a temp/manilla******* file already exists. (cant remember the numbers so I used the star...) I have tried this multiple times, and it always fails out. any ideas?

ok, couldnt get MMS workin regardless of what version of arcsoft mms i installed... ended up figuring out your kitchen from the comments you made in my tread about looking for a stripped rom. created my own rom and MMS is working now. No clu what was different. Now have about 66.2 megs free after a reset, so Im hapy. was loving the 82.3 i had with the stripped rom, but if this allows me to have MMS Ill rock it for a while. I mean really, its not like I cant flash somethig else on it right? :)

Try the attached file on the stripped ROM. It worked fine for me so there is no reason it shouldnt for you. Also when you got to send a pic message you either need to do it when you are viewing the pic or when you are in your test messages click new then mms.

umm.... what attached file? I havte to sound like a moron, but the only file I see here is the Verizon ROM itself..

damn bored, i just flashed the stripped rom to see what it was like. its blazing quick, it honestly shocked me, ive never been able to get things done so quickly!!

ok, i got it sorted out... for now. Im sure that once I reflash my toy with another ROM I wil start to have issues again.... and I do so want to go back to bored's stripper rom....

I found and tried numerous versions of arcsoft mms. I tried GC's, I tried 64.something, and finally i tried Caulkins (just the name brings back images of that kid in Home alone....) and now it seems to work.

So it is working adn I am happy, but I think tomorrow I will reflash and then load caulkins arcsoft to see if that fixxes it again. But first Im going to make a backup of the registry entries for the arcsoft. can I do that with PHM?

Here is the file I used. Still waiting for Bored to post his magical file that none of us could see.... :)

That was the file I was going to attach. Sorry about forgetting to attach it I was having a hectic night at work last night. Calkulin's cab has worked every time for me.

ok, i'm stuck, how do i unlock and prepare my phone to have it flashed with your ROM? I have been trying the instructions on the sticky of this forum but i keep getting errors displayed when running the utility to flash the phone, what do i need to do first to prepare the phone?

i keep receiving ERROR [284]: UPDATE ERROR

and the document of course does not exist to view the details...did i forget a step to "unlock" the phone ?? thats what i was trying to do running off my Win XP machine
