That's why I asked if this is the final final final release... for a while I mean...

Personally I am not a fan of any kind of back ups. I just use active sync for contacts and that's it. If you MUST use back up software I recommend using it just for the contacts, messages, logs, etc. Not for the actual programs/settings because things change a great deal from rom to rom and you might end up with problems.

SPB BackUp 2.0 works great for me and it has a ROM Upgrade Mode. You also get the option to save and/or restore:
-PIM
-EMAIL
-Texts
-My Documents
-System

After a new Flash, I normally restore all but the system, just in case there were registry upgrades and apps in the new ROM, then just reload my 25 cabs. If I go back to an older ROM, I just reload everything since all the registries are the same.

I am using SPB Mobile shell, when I go into the settings none of the dropdown menus are working. They worked before I flashed this ROM. Dropdown menus are working elsewhere. As far as I can tell that is the only trouble I am having.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it

Everyone has their opinions about hard resets after a flash, so Mike what do you suggest? Go to bootloader and reset the device after your flash too?

First time I've had a mighty flash kill my sprint data (Error 1012). Prob just a fluke but...
For those of you with this issue I resolved it with these steps:
1. tap ##3282#
2. tap edit enter your msl
3. tap menu
4. tap restore (your tp will restart)
5. run update profile from start->settings->system

If you do not have the update profile option see attached cab.
