I was wondering how to get the classic Windows Mobile word completion back. I've gone into the Input settings and gone to the Word Completion tab and enabled "Suggest words when entering text" with suggest after set to "1 letter" and "suggestion 4 words" (but i've tried other settings) and it just will never work! Just download/ install the cab which should be attach in this thread and soft reset. worked for me.

If you are talking about the EZInput cabs, I've already tried them and that's not what I want. I want the standard classic ugly simple "Word Completion" feature of Windows Mobile, not HTC's snazzy word completion add-on.

I did a pretty extensive search of this thread and I couldn't find any other cab associated with "word completion" or variations thereof... However, there are a bazillion pages, so I may have missed it. If you know of a cab that will enable this feature, please do link to me! I would be very grateful!

EDIT: I found out if I set HKLM\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete\MaxSuggest ions to 4, I got classic Word Completion back for recipients, but i still can't get it for anything else.

oh man, that sucks, it seems to be working fine for now now... we'll see what ends up happening. but then if that's the case, i guess that'll be the 2nd time i'm sending my phone in for repair. the hw kb had stopped working a while back, was repaired a couple of months ago. BAH!

u, can, but too many steps with the onscreen keyboard.. but rofl, that's what i was complaining about in MR5 for that very reasons, <3's, ROFL.

however.. ever since MR6, i think it wasn't working at first, but my symbol key has actually been working ever since MR6. maybe try hard resetting?

Although i am definitely not a fan of the color scheme... I really need to see this thing in person because right now... I'm not impressed.

agreed.
i wonder if verizon will get it's normal red/black look. I started reading on it months ago, and i don't know if i'm sold on the upgrades. Form Factor is nice, i like the longer sleeker look, but just not sure it's worth it. If there was a TP3, that would seem to be a better jump. Apache to Mogul = awesome jump; mogul to touch pro = awesome "eye candy" jump. Touch Pro to Tp2 = just not sure yet. :)
