I hate to bring the attention away from the MR6 excitement. I've been looking all over this thread, and other parts of the forum trying to find an answer to a problem that I've seen many other people having, but i've not yet come across a fix that works on my phone.

I've got a verizon touch pro, I installed the MightyROM5_06.09.09_Herman and shortly after, not doing much research I flashed the Telus V1.04.05V Radio R. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it. I'm not sure really why I did it, because frankly I don't even know how I would benefit from flashing a new radio.


MY PROBLEM: I can't seem to get my phone to stop sending sporadic duplicate text messages to whomever I most recently sent one to.

I thought I had fixed it last night, come to find that my phone had been harassing a good friend of mine all night until finally they just shut off their phone.

I have tried reflashing to the light rom, reflashing to a newly downloaded copy of the full MR5 and doing a series of hard resets and clear storage.


I LOVE everything about this rom. I'm actually able to use my web browser now because it doesn't run out of memory every few minutes. I can also reliably watch youtube videos. And I LOVE how the keyboard lag issues have been resolved, I can't even imagine anything better as announced for the MR6 rom....

Somebody, ANYBODY please help me with this. I'm not blaming the ROM, but I think enough people have had this issue that there MUST be some kind of fix for it out there, and I can't read anymore pages. Searches don't seem to narrow the window enough, and I've been reading non stop for about 160 pages.

Clear storage and/or hard reset. This answer can easily be found by utilizing the seach engine and using "duplicate text" as your criteria.

did u restore ur contacts using microsoft my phone? or PIM Backup? cause pim back up is known to cause this particular issue

google schap's advanced config version 3.3 install the cab on ur phone. after installing start the program and navigate down to phone tap it to expand its contents and disable Phone Skin and that should fix ur hesitant dialer problem

Thanks for the answer. I was hoping that Mighty might be able to provide a dumped copy because i noticed he is still running stock radio. But if there is none out there i guess i can't get it!

or at least make it compatable. Pandora is amazing at the office.or at the gym.
