I am thinking about. WeatherPanel is not a good app for installing at first boot with a cab. (The installer prompts for input.) I can work on an OEM. (There might be one out there already.) I need to work on some other stuff but it is on the list.

What about just putting it in the cabs folder with the MMS stuff and TV cabs?



For people that don't know, KK has included the cabs for Arcsoft MMS, Sprint pic mail, and sprint TV. Use file explorer, click on My Device (if it's not already selected), then click on the Cabs folder.

Agree, WeatherPanel may be cool program but the phone already have HTC Weather tab which is good enough for most. And it link to accuweather.com if want more detail. So don't think should spend too much time to get it install. Better spend the time to work on more interesting programs and only get this to work if have nothing else to add. :)

anyone having landscape problems with 1.5. when i slide out the keyboard nothing happens just the screen messes up.

I have also noticed a few landscape problems when writing text messages. I have not pinpointed when it occurs but sometimes you can have the keyboard out and it still in vertical mode and it wont switch until you go back to home and to the text messages again. I will try and be more observant about what the precise conditions are causing it to occur.

Finally have a chance to post my 2 cents worth. First off, no harm no foul...didn't feel flamed on since opinions are like a**holes and everyone's got one. Especially folks on forums! Secondly, I know and do customize after I've flashed a ROM...even one loaded like this one. I only make the suggestion to the chef which is all it is...a suggestion. Besides, if no one suggests anything new...or bring new things to the chef's attention...how would the build grow and mature anyway? Enough of that!!

I am also having portrait to landscape issues as mentioned before. I would like to know how I can turn OFF auto-complete have used BOTH Advanced Config AND Diamond tweak to set word suggestion to 0 but still having issues with dumb word suggestions!! I have re-installed weather database editor to add home city.

I have used SPB weather in the past in conjunction with secondtoday and it worked beautifully. SPB weather app gave more indepth info than the weather panel screen in TF3D. Also, couldn't let go of Metrix from my 6700/6800 days...always liked those little icons....esp when I can adjust scrn brightness from my today screen.

ok, first thanks for the great rom. I have flashed this rom since 1.2 ( i know that is not long) and really enjoy it. I have pocketshield on top and works fine. One issue though, I am using sprint tp and tried to install arcsoft mms for sprint and it doesnt seem to install and I can not find it on the device.

BTW, running the telus radio and battery life is very good considering I am using exchange push as well as internet email (every 1/2 hour)
