Justin, how much email do you get a day via Exchange? I'm using exchange, but dont get much email every day. I'm not experiencing battery drain.

Hey Kev,

What version of Opera are you using? I cannot run opera config: in the browser so I can change the user agent default to 2 so I can acces my account on Wellsfargo.com.

Man, you're really running into issues aren't you. You might need to reflash completely. I can change the user agent just fine on 1.5.

Try erasing everything from the address bar in Opera and ONLY typing a C. Should auto complete and just select opera:config.

first of all I sync my pro with my exchange server and send and receive about 100 emails a day. I dont have any drain. Stop wasting kevins time and the rest of ours with this issue. Take your phone in for service. I hate lurkers alwayes trying to run off at the mouth with jibberish to get posts up.


Once again great job kev have not soft reset after flashing to 1.5 running as smooth as my arse.

I would like to add to this trying to bite me tongue. There seems to be an issue with exchange active sync since v1.4

I can duplicate it on demand by switching the exchange schedule from "as it arrives" to any other option. When I do this the battery draw (DisChargeCurrent) goes from 157mA to 57mA.

At first I thought there might have been a change on the exchange server. But those IT guys will not tell you anything.

To confirm there is an issue I went back to v1.3 with push enabled. The power draw goes between ~50 to 160 mA but does not stay at the higher end. With v1.4 and v1.5 the power draw stays at 157 mA.

Common to all users:

Phone
ROM

Not common to all users:

Carrier
Radio version (same issue with telus and 1.11.0F)
Exchange setup

I am not sure if I am having a brain fart on this one but it seems the reminders no longer show up with a pop up window. This one seems to be in a few versions prior to v1.5 but may not be there now. Not a big deal it was just nice to have the pop up to let me know where my next meeting was.

kevan - still a great ROM and I will work through the power issues.

Hello all,

I downloaded 1.5 a second time and flashed. I am not having the issues I had before. I normally receive about 25 emails on average a day via exchange with attachments.
