Hey KK,

When you come out with a 6.5 release... you should stick it in a new thread so as to keep them separated... Just a suggestion.

I installed TP2 from that page lastnight, but i'm having major lag. Also noticed that the install changed my touch screen sensitivity settings. I really like the features that the TF3D2 has, but it is not running smoothly on my phone with KK 1.8.

How did you go about installing it? What cabs did you apply?

Downloaded COMPLETE MANILA PACKAGE + FIX 1C package.
Disabled Touch Flo 3D from the Today Screen,

Installed the items in the required folder, then items in the optional folder. I also installed the CDMA fix 2.

There are still somethings that don't work really well but it is smooth. I am running KK's with the default Page Pool size. I dunno if the bloat from the TP2 Manilla is too big requiring a larger page pool or not. There wasn't anything that I couldn't work around.

Just like SMS has a really kewl interface but turns into Epic Fail. I just select all messages and use the WinMo virgin. It works well.

There are some minor font adjustments that have to occur and appears that the bottom curtain is higher (prolly because of TP's resolution).

Updates to the Touch Flo stuff:
The Stock tab really updates and has a slightly different interface. The internet tab has a pre-fetch option. Weather shows the forecast at the bottom, the Calendar really works, the wall paper options under settings turns majorly ghey! Just a red screen and gives you the option to take a picture.

I know Kevin is busy and if anything when everyone asks when 1.9 is out, it doesn't change how soon it will be released. It will be when it is.. Be patient...

Is kevin ok? maybe he is incapacitated due to paint fumes. Or maybe he has the last BSG episode on repeat....

No spoilers.. some of us are catching up in BSG and are only on season 3!

Lets have some patience, he posted a few days ago that he was gonna be busy. Besides, if he is working on the ROM I'd rather have everything as stable as his ROM's normally are. I'd hate to go and patch this or patch that with multiple cab installs to fix the myriad of bugs that this new TF3D has given the community.

Besides, if you're SOOOOOO jonsing for a ROM fix...you can always cook your own.

Just a note, that TF2 stuff works great on ssk 1.6 final.

ok, love the rom, but how do i stop/remove the autoinsert for everything, it hates me, and i have enough trouble with the damn new keyboard. but yeah if someone can chime in and tell me what i have to remove or check that would be great. (already checked in settings-input) it dont work

Open the Qwerty software onscreen keyboard, then switch the ABC-T9 key over to ABC. That should do the trick for you. Or you can open the slide out keyboard, click on FN then the Spacebar, then select ABC in the menu that comes up.
