Dumb question but what problem is there with the treaded message?

I should have said threaded text messages.

On the stock ROM my text messages were threaded like a conversation, so that I could see chronologically the texts I sent and the ones I received from that contact, arranged like IM chat. It even used to different colors to denote sender and recipient.

Since I've been using these ROMs when I display all text messages by contact, I get a list of the messages the contact sent me (with the date in parentheses) follow by a list of my messages to the contact. But they are not interlaced as they used to be.

I haven't been using many text messages since I switch ROMs so maybe the threaded capability applies only to new messages. But so far I can't seem to get threaded to work. I have even switched to classic, reset, then switched back to threaded and no change.

heyyyy i just realized.....looks like the txt messaging glitch isnt fixed after all....if you in a threaded message and someone txt's you twice and you reply to both of them and press ok to go back to all your messages that persons name stays bold and says (2) in parenthesis like that...as if you havent read it :/

I love KK ROMs. Thank you Kevank.

I got a quick question. I like the Opera mobile 15613 (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=58495). When I tried to install it, I got an error saying insufficient privileges or something like that. Anybody knows how to install that newer version of opera mobile on KK's ROM?

Thank you for being my guinea pig. ;)

I'll stick with what I've got, and not deal with another reflash.

Also falzon03, I've learned from trial and error, if you're in a threaded message with multiple new ones, rather than exiting and coming back in as I described earlier, you can click on the senders name, and it will mark that specific message "read". ie: 3 new texts from Kate, you look in Kate's "folder", and alongside each of her three messages, you click the "Kate" next to each message will mark it read. It is a crude workaround, but does save me a bit of time versus exiting and coming back in three times.

Cheers!
