What is the best rom that is the newest and has the most apps? Can anyone please recommend one for me to download and flash to my phone? Thanks.

the roms have dates in the thread title so when you click one,it tells you what's in that rom.

Well there are many good roms on hear, just look at rom threads, and see which ones best fit your needs.

No one can tell you which rom is the best. It depends on so many factors and only you know what you are looking for. I suggest you browse the upgrades section of the forum for your device.

perhaps mod can make a post where they can gather a list of roms together in a poll. people can vote for their favorite rom

Problem is that ROMS change so often now.
Also polls only show the most popular ROM and it may not be the best ROM for the specific request (ie OP's original request).

A database that lists all the components would be great but then again that would be too much work and would have to be updated everytime a new ROM and revision came out.

Basically, there is no definitive answer..

perhaps we can get a wiki for ppcgeeks. something that the rom creators can edit and use to sort things. this would be better then viewing each thread and sorting through a lot of chatting

Better question. Why do people keep asking this question over and over again. Perhaps we should make a sticky entitled "BEST ROM" and detail why you should not post that question as the thread will be closed. Your best bet is to try them out for yourself and see which one you like, as I nor anyone else in this forum is not going to tell you what is BEST for you. With new roms coming out what seems like hourly, that would be pretty impossible to answer even if we tried. I wish you the best of luck. Honestly, just do a little reading in the descriptions of each rom and try them out. You will find the ideal one for you.
